Works really well for Blueberries. I had 2 young plants given to me so decided to try this mix as blueberries are like azaleas and gardenias and prefer and acid mix. The plants are thriving and doing so well that they may fruit next season instead of waiting until the one after that.

The oldest plants are fruiting well and last year's addition to our collection is growing in size at a good rate. I haven't had to play with the PH at all, just keep up with fertiliser at the recommended rate.

My new roses seem to be loving this so far. A couple of things to watch out for though- I got quite a few bags but only one of them had mould in the bag. One bag also had a thick piece of brown broken glass inside, so watch your hands!

I boght this yesterday and for some reason decided to test the pH. It was pH7 at best. I even purchased a new ph test kit and checked its accuracy by adding vinegar to some random soil. I tested several areas of the bag with the same result. Some areas even showed above ph7. I returned all 5 bags to the rocklea store. Dont buy this product it is no better than the cheap $3/bag stuff. What a rip off.
I bought this because it is advertised as an acidic mx. The 2 bags I bought are not. The pH readings have been consistently higher than 7. I see others have made the same comment.
Not recommend it if you're here for its "acid PH". Bought this for my blueberries and checked its PH many times on different days using the PH tester. The PH reading is always 7.0 not 4.8-5.8 as promised! Very disappointed! Even the normal potting mix I used to have has lower PH than this one!
We added this soil to our new rose garden bed.The soil on our property is rubbish vlay so we knew we needed a lot of help to make the rose garden work.The roses are doing amazing.Bags are easier to carry and use.
I use soil on my azalea gardenia and particularly roses in garden. As well as fertilizer on roses magnolia azaleas and gardenias they all look strong and healthy particularly leaf growth.
This is a hard product to rate. How can I be certain of what it is doing? However, the potting mix looked and felt like high quality. It felt pleasant to use. The rose that we planted after making a bed using the potting mix is doing really well.
