Despite using the right utensils this got so scratched up with allthe coating coming off within 6 months. Have just thrown it out and Im a huge scan pan fan. Its thr only brand I use. Have just gone back to my scan pan stainless steel fry pan.

Super non-stick. Solid, but not too heavy. Heats evenly and holds heat well even using a sketchy electric stovetop at the moment. Looking forward to being back on gas with this pan. Hopefully the surface holds up for the long term.

I bought the 20cm Scanpan CTX frypan to replace my 2 year old (another) brand name 20cm non-stick frypan which had become warped - most disappointing. I've had a CTX wok for a few years and have been really impressed its performance so it was an easy decision as to which brand and model of frypan I would be purchasing as a replacement. I've been more than pleased with my new CTX frypan and use it regularly for its no-fat cooking, evenly distributed heat and easy cleaning !! kitchen warehouse's delivery was prompt and fuss free, and their pricing was also most competitive. I'll definitely purchase from them again.
Bought this pan and the 26cm for my Mother who is mobility challenged and who really wanted 2 non-stick pans to make clean up easier. But they had to work on an induction hob and be lightweight which is a really big ask if you want good quality non-stick frying pans as most are really heavy. Mum had the Scanpan Fusion5 stainless steel pans before and found them way too heavy. Having used the CTX pans for a couple of weeks now she's really happy with them. Says they cook beautifully and clean up perfectly and are just the right weight for her to handle easily. And of course, kitchen warehouse were excellent as usual. Thanks!
Unfortunately does not last, for the money I expected it to be non stick for years. Could have bought a new cheap one every year and I would still have money for another 4 years.
Never knew why my sister was so adamant that when I buy a new fry pan to buy a scanpan, but now that I have 2 in my kitchen I will not buy anything else. The way that the product is packed with care before you use it tells you that you are buying a quality product & when you cook with it, you experience the ease of cooking. Love it. Love it. Love it. Will be buying more Scanpan products in the future.
When my husband offered to buy me a new frypan for Christmas I knew that I wanted a good one, so I visited the kitchen warehouse website and ordered both the 28cm and 20cm Scanpans. They arrived within a few days and I had to wait until Christmas to use them. These frypans are so great to cook with and so easy to clean. I love them so much that I have just bought two sets of four saucepans for each of my daughters for next Christmas. They will love them!!! and I am already ahead on my Christmas shopping for 2011.
I purchased this pan thinking I was buying the best and was not disappointed. It's taking me a bit of getting used to applying the correct level of heat because of the thickness of the pan but you can get a really nice sear on things. I would have liked a little bit shorter handle (to fit more easily in my oven). I know this pan can go in the dishwasher - but I don't want to risk doing anything to it as I love it so much. I am very happy with the packaging and speed of service. I'm glad I found you on line. Thankyou.
