I purchased the 128GB Extreme Pro for my Sound Devices 633 Mixer/Recorder. When I'm on location with long sessions--and often off of the grid--producers don't always bring a laptop to offload daily audio. If I've flown in to the location everything has to fit in a small backpack and a small duffel bag so I can't always pack my laptop either (to be totally honest) as I don't like to check any of my media gear when flying. Even if a producer does bring a laptop and offloads daily audio I still want to be in possession of audio for the entire project until I can safely back up all files to multiple hard drives in my home studio in the event the client loses or accidentally deletes the project's audio files. I initially only trusted Delkin media cards, then switched to Hoodman which I feel are exceptionally reliable media cards. But I switched to using only Sound Devices recommended media cards for the 633 Mixer/Recorder. I'm also using the Delkin Black SDXC 128 GB card in the 633 for the SD card slot for mirrored recording. I may give the SanDisk Extreme a 5 Star rating down the road if it proves to be utterly reliable as the Delkin and Hoodman cards.

Bought a new Canon 5D body and it takes two memory cards - one SanDisk type and one CF type. I had cards already but they were 32GB or 64GB. I needed a matching pair. Now I have two 128GB cards, one a SanDisk and the other a CF. Happy camper now.

I shoot photos with a Nikon D810 DSLR camera. The D810 has two memory card slots: one for SD cards, and the other for CompactFlash (CF) memory cards. CompactFlash is an old, outdated storage medium but if you still use a camera that requires it (like the D810), the SanDisk - Extreme Pro 128GB CompactFlash Memory Card is one of the best cards still on the market.I use this 128GB ExtremePro card as my primary storage card when shooting photos with my DSLR and I never have any issues or delays. I (thankfully) have never had one of these cards fail on me.

Held off getting a 128gb CF card for years (decade?). I shoot only stills but like the capacity for the larger events I shoot. I only purchase SanDisk and Lexar cards so I can have that warm feeling they won't fail. With my current cameras I am carrying four different cards. Card manufacturers should send Canon a thank you card.
This is about the best Compact Flash card you can buy. The brand is dependable and has a long-lasting reputation for good products and standing behind the products when issues arise. It’s also the fastest compact flash card money can buy so it costs a bit more, which isn’t a thrill since the data transfer method for compact flash maxes out at this card’s speed so there will never be a faster card. But if your camera still relies on Compact Flash this is the card to buy. The 128GB size is solid for shooting RAW files, costs a bit more than smaller sizes but holds plenty. A good card for shooting RAW to it while shooting JPG to a 32 GB version.
Update after some more use, and even card replacementUnfortunately this card has issues. The read and write speeds are very unstable. I had one faulty card, after about 2 years of use (it was reading super slow, and there were some faulty sectore), and I requested replacement. Got a replacement, but even a brand new card is slow in many situations, I can't get more than 38MB/s read speed (computer and card reader can handle it using USB 3). And write speeds are unstable.I am disappointed, because I always had a good opinion about Sandisk.OLD REVIEW:Excellent product.Speed, capacity, quality.Unless you really need it, I would recommend this card, or few of them, instead of bigger ones. You really do not want to loose ALL data when one card fails. I had once data corruption on this one, but it might have been forced ejection or Windows issue. I recovered all photos and checked card for errors - no fault - it still writes and reads on all 128GB without issues.I use it with Canon EOS 5D Mark III.
This item purchased was a brand new in package CF card. After purchase are used it for eight photography session for a client. When I try to transfer data from the cards to the computer it appeared that the card was corrupt. I lost more than 64 GB of images.... I was very disappointed about the product and the performance. Maybe one of a kind situation but going forward will consider other brands
I work with 10 to $200,000 cameras and I can not second guess what I am using. Here is a product I trust. I use 128 and 256 because sometimes I just can not stop shooting. I carry many extras/spare and 4 back up portable hard drives and separate them into different luggage, bags and carry-on. Never trust one copy.
There is nothing much left to say about compact flash cards. So unfortunate that they're being slowly phased out. I still shoot with a Canon 1Dx on each shoulder and I've always been a fan of the dual CF card option. I don't do much video and maybe 128GB cards are a bit overkill for what I do but these cards are reliable and are unlikely to fail. I will shoot CF cards until my cameras quit functioning.
This memory card is great for my Canon EOS 7D camera! When I bought my camera a number of years ago, the memory card I bought was around 4GB, because that's all I could afford at that time - the larger capacity memory cards were outrageously priced. Now that the price has gone done, I was finally able to purchase the 128GB memory card. I was using the video recorder on my camera to film my music band performing gigs, and the older memory card would always run out of space and capture only 1/3 of our concerts. With the 128GB capacity, I no longer have to worry about the recording stopping in the middle of the concert. Also, the specs on this card are great - very fast - great for burst shooting of photos. In fact, I bought 2 of these memory cards. Easy to install, no ... MoreThis memory card is great for my Canon EOS 7D camera!
