Great foldable

Pre-ordered the Burgundy version (which looks gorgeous by the way) and have used the phone for almost 2 weeks and the fold 4 has been great so far.+ Actually feels nice to use one handed when folded and not too bulky+ Gorgeous cover and inner screens+ Great performance. Applications feels very smooth even using multiple application in light performance mode.+ I have had great battery life so far. I limit charging to 85% and can get about 6-8h SOT if not playing any games. I usually have around 30% battery left around bedtime. Definitely recommend to set your performance mode to light to save battery and the phone will still perform very well.+ Great for productivity and features such as multitasking with being able to have up to 4 apps open at the same time ... MorePre-ordered the Burgundy version (which looks gorgeous by the way) and have used the phone for almost 2 weeks and the fold 4 has been great so far.+ Actually feels nice to use one handed when folded and not too bulky+ Gorgeous cover and inner screens+ Great performance. Hopefully future versions will be dust resistant- UDC camera is not quite there yetOther things that would be nice for future versions (in my opinion):~ Another 3mm or so more in width~ Reduce the crease further (usually doesn't bother me but it can be more noticeable from an angle or in dark mode)~ Include S Pen with the phone

As a first-time Samsung user, my first impression has been detrimental to my consideration of purchasing any other Samsung products.I will admit, initially, i too was immersed by the intriguing product, as i had taken interest in the flip line ever since the zFlip3 was released. Aside from this complication, the phone itself was satisfactory, slightly fragile with a horrible battery life (lasting shorter compared to my 4year old iPhone with a 73% maximum capacity)My zFlip4 was merely slightly over 5 months old when I was forced to use my old iPhone 11. The zFlip4 had failed to outlive my 4year old iPhone. I woke up as per usual and recognised a black LCD line across the fold of my zFlip4, which increased in size the more i opened/closed the phone. Horrified, I checked if my phone was still functioning, only to register the fact that the top half of my screen was unresponsive to touch.I contacted Samsung, who sent my phone to Icure for an 'inspection' to inform me of assumed knowledge, which was priced at $66. I was not informed of the inspection price beforehand. I was absolutely appalled by the price of the repair. $540 ( reduced to $200 if you preordered the product however I assume those reading these reviews intend to purchase the product). I acknowledge and recognise that modern flip phones are "fairly" recent and repair prices may be costly however I did not expect the repair to be priced at half the cost of an iPhone, or a third of the original product. Nevertheless, I believe the price is absurd for just an LCD screen replacement. I question whether this price is coherent as I do not believe I am at fault due to a MINUSCULE "dent on the edge of the bezel". If this was the case, the issue should have appeared when the dent was made, which could not have been overnight as my phone was left untouched, unless the product was made to deteriorate rapidly. I am still a student, studying, and it is distressing to cough up such a sum of money unexpectedly as I have spent all my savings to purchase the actual product itself. My research conducted discovered that this complication was admittedly common amongst previous zflip3 users link:https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-z-fold-z-flip/z-flip-3-phone-with-black-line-across-screen-at-fold-crease-of/td-p/5210802This exhibits how Samsung has not acknowledged this issue revolving around zFlip3 users, which should have been prevented and established in advance of releasing the zFlip4. If you are interested in purchasing the zFlip4, you may as well purchase the zFlip3 as they are practically identical in features and share the same "issues".My intentions of critically reviewing this product are due to the fact that I would have appreciated reading a review similar to this, instead of numerous positive reviews of promoting consumers who have owned the product for merely 2 weeks, before I purchased the zFlip4. It is devastating to say I now regret my choices and should have chosen the iPhone 14 instead. Moral of the story, steer away from the zFlip phones.

This phone is an eye catcher. People stop and stare and ask about it on a daily basis. The main screen is great. Nice and big with the benefit of being able to fold to fit in your pocket. Unfortunately the positives stop there. Front screen is too small. Find myself always having to open to big screen, yes this does become a big deal when you're doing it 50 times per day. Netflix and Disney plus have huge black lines at top and bottom so viewing size is the same if not smaller than my old S22 ultra. Defeats the purpose of a big screen and it's 7 months old now with no update to fix this.Front screen stopped working last month and Samsung repair guy said foldable phones have separate checking criteria and if there's any marks on it at all then the warranty is void ... MoreThis phone is an eye catcher. Defeats the purpose of a big screen and it's 7 months old now with no update to fix this.Front screen stopped working last month and Samsung repair guy said foldable phones have separate checking criteria and if there's any marks on it at all then the warranty is void and they blame the user. The screens are too expensive to fix therefore Samsung have made it extra difficult to prove its a manufacturing issue. Apparently foldable phones are coming in faulty on a daily basis.Camera hasn't a patch on the ultra either, poor quality. Upgrade program a joke as you can only upgrade to the same series which means I can't change back to the ultra after 1 year. This was not made clear at all when I signed up.All in all poor show Samsung. I can't wait to get rid of this foldable phone and I'd almost return to Apple as their warranty is amazing. Any issues new phone straight away. But I will most likely get the S23 Ultra and hope I have no issues with that as my S22 ultra was the best phone I've ever had.

I ask them if they have ever encounter this problem with the front screen they said no since the phone just hit the market for a few months so they are not aware of any issues yet. My problem with Samsung is that if a phone is brand new and customer is bringing the phone back for issues they have never seen how can they blame the customer? Why wouldn't they fix the issue which was simply to replace the front screen and send the defective screen to identify the quality issue? They charged me $189 plus tax. Total $213.57 Canadian. I have care+ warranty but they did not honor the warranty instead tolde an excuse why they would have to charge me more than they should. My repair price was suppose to be $79 only front/exterior screen but yet they scammed me and charged me for the repair of the inner folding double LCD screen. Honestly I'm 6 months pregnant and have been standing in the Samsung store at Yorkdale Toronto for 4 hours and the staffs are unprofessional and even when I mentioned the issue with the amount they are charging me which they were aware of it they explained that's just how it is. Please do not buy any phone from Samsung and please do not purchase the care+ warranty plan it's a scam you won't know until you need to use it. They tell you $79 but when they actually charge you its $200+ I honestly am so shocked that I needed to bring my Z4fold back in 2.5 months and have to pay out of pocket for a defective exterior screen. It honestly doesn't make any sense. The most shocking thing out of this is the customer service I received from the Samsung store at Yorkdale Toronto.

The phone is also incredibly fast and responsive, making it easy to use for everyday tasks. The design of the Samsung Galaxy Fold Z4 is sleek and modern, and I love the way it feels in my hand. The foldable screen is a true engineering marvel, and I find myself constantly showing it off to friends and family.Overall, I highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy Fold Z4 to anyone looking for a high-quality smartphone that offers a unique and innovative design. This phone is truly in a league of its own, and I am so glad that I made the investment.

The Z Flip 4: A Phone from the Future
3 November 2022

The Z Flip 4 is the first phone I have bought outright. The small form factor is what attracted me and nice colours. The rose gold was the one for me and when it came I was so happy, that I got the Samsung clear cover, so I could could see the rose gold through the case.I have had the phone only two weeks and it has been absolutely fantastic. The screen is so vibrant and sharp, that it makes reading text, watching videos and online shopping a much more immersive experience. When the screen is open, you wouldn't even know that it could fold away. The screen also has a lovely tactile feel and Samsung even fitted their own screen protector. The stereo speakers are amazing clear for music, video and chatting to friends.I have found the speed and power of the Z ... MoreThe Z Flip 4 is the first phone I have bought outright. I have not had a single dropout or stutter. I can safely store the Flip 4 on a shelf and concentrate on teaching my class.I have been taking a lot more photos and video with my new phone, as the clarity is unbelievably clear, with really accurate colour tone. I have two puppies, and they have never looked so good! The form factor with the hinge is a real feat of engineering and precision. It is such a pleasure to flip the phone open and closed. It has a nice weight to it when it is open or closed. The hinge simply disappears when you open it and looks real cool when you close, as you can see the Samsung logo on the edge of the hinge. One of the things that is really impressive, is what the Flip 4 can do when it is closed: With the rear screen you can see all your messages, check the time and even take calls - how good is that! The compact design of the phone allows me to store it away, safely in a pocket in my bag or my jeans pocket, without taking hardly any space.I didn't think I would ever see something like this in my time.It really is a phone from the future!

This is the phone I've been looking for!

The best of both a tablet and smartphone in one, I've really been enjoying the versatility of the Galaxy Z Fold4. I thought the crease in the middle would be an issue but you really don't see it, and the under screen camera is pretty well out of the way and is hardly noticeable as well. Everything you could possibly want to do on your phone (except maybe making calls ironically) is enhanced by having a much larger, tablet size screen, and in folded form it feels great in the hand for calls, one-handed texting, etc. It is a bit difficult to text with one-handed because of how narrow the front screen is. The keys are so close together that typos are inevitable, but if you're able to open it and text with two hands it is very easy to be accurate. Honestly there isn't too much bad to say about this phone other than the price can be a bit high if you pay full price (I got mine on sale for Black Friday). Also the aspect ratio of the front screen is a bit long and narrow so it makes certain tasks a bit awkward, but unfolding it fixes this completely. I would highly recommend this phone especially if you're someone who uses their phone for much more than just calls and texts.

This phone is an Ultimate All rounder by SAMSUNG

I specially bought this phone because of my business works. This phone has a large display and it can be kept folded , so no big space required on it and we can keep that large display in our pocket. Also it seems that Samsung has achieved a major leap on this product on the smooth fold edges. We can easily flip it and open it again. This Z fold phone is better than any other phones I have used before. I also surprised on the camera of this phone. The camera was super clear even in Night photos. Also I could even scan my documents and stuffs with the camera. The next level security is also a main part I always consider. Two way Biometric authentication ; that means the Fingerprint Scanner and the Facial Recognition feature has developed further on this device. The phone just be as I need. While I work on the main display , it responds super smooth an when I opened the large display , it never lags and adjusts super smoothly. The phone design with the Samsung logo to the side is an attractive thing. Even the camera's have planted in attractive way. The selfie camera's in the both displays are under display mounted and it is very Amazing. Finally , I should mention about the battery life of the device. It was actually Fantastic. It charges in quickly and I could use it for a Loong time. Although the phone has a big work to do , it manages everything and well optimized and saves power for a long battery life. I am satisfied well with my first Samsung product and hope to be a Samsung fan in future with future products you launch.

I had the Fold 3 for thebetter part of a year and really love it. So when my husband killed his s21, I took that as a sign to upgrade to the 4 and give him my 3.I love my 3.Now there are not many huge changes in the 3&4 that I have seen personally except the camera is way better on the 4. If you YouTube tools and tricks for the fold 4 you can unlock its potential - and alot of the tools are good for the 3.The best thing about Samsung and Android is that you can customize your phone down to the minutes detail. The ring that appears on your phone if you enable it for a notification, customizable ring tones, etc. All the esthetics are great for fine tuning.I love that I can have multiple windows open at a time, had been helpful when needing to see several ... MoreI had the Fold 3 for thebetter part of a year and really love it. The site button was over sensitive and sound call the notification menu shown, so I disabled it.Honestly, up to now the Note series were my favourite Samsung phones bit l but the Fold 4 did the same and more.Yes the phone is expensive, but it is very good. The Connectivity is good, I travel between Canada and the USA 2-3x a week and have had no issues going between countries. The phone picks up the signals quickly, I have very few drop calls and the outbid rarely glitches.I highly recommend this phone especially if you're a business person, it's very handy, easy to navigate and versatile.
