I bought these in November or October of 2023 on around Black Friday at BestBuy, and so far, they’ve been amazing. At the time I bought them, I was mainly buying earbuds for the noise cancelation features without anything playing, and I was expecting the earbuds to fully cancel out the sound. And the ambient mode is amazing too, it allows me to hear people talking to me without having to pull my earbuds out. The battery also lasts me all day of continuous use and I can go a few days straight before the battery in the case runs out and I have to recharge it. These earbuds are really worth the money you buy them for.

It mutes sound effectively and has an almost tranquilizing feel to the sound that does leak in. It's hard to describe, but the buzzing and whirring of a mechanical room disappear, unlike with traditional earplugs that only mask it. That being said, the Active Noise Cancellation is REQUIRED if you want to block out noise. Unlike previous models, that would passively block out noise, the Buds2 Pro tends to leak in a lot of noise when it is off. This also encourages the user to use Active Noise Cancellation (which eats up the battery) to get a proper listening experience. Older models got around this by using passive noise cancellation; I could wear them like earplugs whether they had a charge or not. They also saved battery life by not having to run Active Noise Cancellation the entire time.PASSTHROUGH - Good.It works and is a little louder than previous models. I don't really take that as a good or bad thing, since it allows me to talk to people just as effectively as older models did.FIT - Servicable, could be better.I really miss the old interchangeable rubber fins the previous Buds models had, as it allowed for a better fit than just the ear-tips. These fit alright but aren't nearly as snug as the Buds with interchangeable fins. Samsung really dropped the ball, when they removed this feature.CONNECTIVITY - Great, with some hiccups.Connectivity is great, has good range and walls don't really mess with sound quality or range too much. However, sometimes the Buds are not on the same page and will play at different volumes briefly. I've also had an incident where one bud had passthrough enabled while the other had Active Noise Cancellation enabled - it's only happened once though.OTHER FEATURES - NeatThese buds bring in something called "Voice Detect," which will automatically detect your voice, lower the volume of what you are listening to, and enable passthrough. This lets you have a conversation with a person, hands-free. It's useful for short conversations, however, it disables itself whenever you stop talking for a certain amount of time. This means that Active Noise Cancellation will turn back on if you don't speak again within that specific amount of time. It becomes annoying when you are trying to listen to somebody speak to you for longer than some odd amount of seconds, and the Buds think your conversation is over. Voice Detect will also sometimes enable whenever I cough or yawn - however, you can go back to your music early by tapping one of the Buds. The other feature this brings to the table is 360 Audio. I have not found an application this works with quite yet, but I figured I would mention it if it intrigued anyone.

As a result, if you're taking a call in a moderately noisy environment like a gym or a busy street, the person on the other end of the line might not hear you very well.

However, these appear to be made for people with "normal" ears in mind. Where with my first gen Galaxy Buds, I can just pop them in my ears and go, these take a significant amount of adjusting upon insertion, especially in my left ear where I have a mole on the outer part of my ear. I have "pokey" ears (think "Dopey" from Snow White), and the bulk of these makes them difficult to place properly. In addition to that, I find that the soft cushion suctions itself to the earpiece itself when inserted, and takes a moment or two to pop itself back out, which also makes placement awkward and potentially ... These new ones have alleviated my old problems, but brought along with them some new annoyances. On a last note, the "360 Audio" doesn't seem to have the same sound quality as just allowing a song to play as it normally would. It had a tinny, almost grainy quality, and I have to make sure I have it turned off to properly enjoy music. The ambient sound feature, however, is far superior to the previous model, which I very much appreciate.

However I switched to the larger tips anyway, which require a bit more push to put them into my ears, but doing so really improves the sound isolation and the bass (the snug fit cuts down outside noise a fair amount as well as enables the bass to really work). Anyone who wants to use them all day with all options on will likely be disappointed, but for me and probably most people in between, they last plenty long enough.

I live in a noisy city and I can use them to make a call with little to no background noise coming through for the other person.Listening to podcasts and music is better too, the sound quality is fantastic and I don't find myself having to turn it up to obscene volumes to pick up on people with more quiet voices talking in the shows I listen to.The charge on the earphones is decent, if you use them constantly like me for work meetings, calls, and streaming, you'll have to charge them every few days. But they last longer than I thought they would for such a little case.They sit comfortably in the ear, though they do feel like they're slipping out occasionally and it's easy to accidently pause what you're listening to or end a call while trying to adjust them.Overall I love them, love the color options and the high quality of the earphones. I got a good deal on them, but knowing how great they are I totally would pay full price if there hadn't been a sale going on. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the market for a good pair of wireless ear buds.
I use my Galaxy Buds2 Pro everyday for multiple use cases.While at work, I use them in a professional environment where I am placing calls to speak with customers and collaborators. I have never once had an issue where the person on the other end had a complaint about clarity or volume and I have never experienced those issues on my end either.While at home, I use them in multiple ways. The ability to lower the volume of whatever I'm listening to just by speaking makes using them hands free, a breeze. The Buds2 Pro's ability to amplify the voices of those around me make communicating with others around me very easy without having to remove them. The ability to call upon Bixby using my voice further enhances the hands free experience in all aspects and use cases mentioned above.The battery life is exceptional! I use these buds everyday and charge them in the case to 100% 1 time per week at most.They fit comfortably in my ears and the low profile and light weight makes extended use very easy and comfortable. Honestly to the point where it is easy to forget that I have them in my ears.

I almost returned mine for a few reasons 1.) These are tuned very natural by default (almost like ear monitors), and Samsung unfortunately does not offer adjustable EQ (only preset) 2.) they can fit shallow or be uncomfortable when you initially try them. Don't give up. For one, these earbuds are way underpriced for what they are packing. If you weren't aware, Buds2 Pro house 2 drivers, a 10mm woofer and a 5.3mm tweeter, which is unheard of at the refurbished price or even the MSRP. This is why they sound so natural and crisp. They do lack the massive bass, even with the 10mm driver, which i don't understand, and coming from bass heavy earbuds, they can feel lacking, until you go back to your old Jabras...etc, as was the case for me. You will miss the clarity and open space sound stage of these (be sure to turn 360 audio on in the smart things app) and play around with 3rd party EQ apps, which help slightly but can cause crackling or other unnatural sounds on some frequencies. Now the fit. They fit well inside the ear, the tips are shallow, compared to most other earbuds like Jabras. They feel like they will fly out of your ears (but they wont). The housing did bother my ears for a few days, but your ears should adjust. The rest are general specs, which you can weigh against other earbuds, like case size, battery life, connectivity, ANC...etc. Last thing I'll add, these are not class leading in battery life, but you have to consider the space and power constraints, housing and running 2 additional tweeters in addition to the 10mm woofers (vs most earbuds running only 1, 6mm driver each) something has to give. Btw, you can run these unusually loud, and both the buds and case are incredibly small.
