Robotime Music Box Orpheus

OrpheusOrpheus made by ROKR and sold by ROBOTIME is an unbelievable wood craft kit.I just complete constructing this with the help of my 8 year old boy. We spent a couple of hrs over 2 days, him punching out the parts and lining them up (and reading off the little piece numbers from the instruction sheet for me) and I pasted and built it. The complete wares is astonishing. A timeless masterpiece. The laser cuts are as perfect as I had desired. Fitment was 100% spot on for every single piece. I'm very affected with this product! The instructions, while the text is little, were accomplished and well written and exemplified, every item is covered, including what to gum.The included gum is alike to elmers white glue, which takes a little to dry. It seemed that utilizing this glue would need some waiting at points during gathering and so we applied very little dots of super gum instead to speed gathering. I believe this was the way to go, but be knowing that there's no adapting misaligned parts if you go this route. You must be highly accurate and sparing if you do not want the super gum squishing out of the seams. The instructions exhibit what parts to glue, there are not many indicated, but we decided to glue every unmoving part for lastingness, because it was obvious that without gum some of the parts weren't going to stay put. You'll require to assess this as you go and glue more than the instructions call for.A little piece of emery paper was included but none of the parts needed sandpapering. Every part burst out cleanly and without burs or anomaly. The light part will require two button cell batteries. The instructions say that they're included but weren't with our set. We required two LR44 cells. We needed to bend the wires going to the LED to place it more in the centre of the interior cavity as it was biased to one side the way it came. The musical box sounds great and seems all right made, the song is perfect for this robot.A rod from the music box goes up through the top to turn the gears and propeller in the dome, which is likely the coolest piece of the robot. It's lighted internally, has a wind up musical box, turning gears, a dome head, dozens of details, what more could you demand for. This is an astonishing deal at the new price of $26 and truly it's worth so much more. This kit has a small number of reviews which mean to me that it is little known. Well if you're searching a cool wood craft kit that will put a smiling on your face this is it! There's not a single thing that could be improved about it. Perfection!

Beautiful gift, great family time activity. My son got it for Xmas and we enjoyed putting it together. The song sounds amazing! Definitely ordering more puzzles!

I love this type of puzzles. I have built several of these from ROKER and competitors. Keep up the great work. I WILL buy more.😎😎😎😍😍😍

Fun to do but didn't come with the wax and glue which was inconvenient and the spare pieces provided are not the ones that are easily broken. perhaps to re-consider which spares you provide might me a good idea. Pre-painted pieces are nice.

NO FUN AT ALL!

It is extremely well-made but the instructions are virtually impossible to follow. The parts are numbered on the instructions but not on the sheet of wooden parts. I just put everything back in the box as it was not at all user-friendly. In fact it is user-adverse. For something so cool to be so intimidating is a nightmare.

This is awesome!!

This is amazing product. I am a very crafty person who doesn't like to make stuffs that are too complicated. This is very simple, yet very detailed product. Just follow the instruction! Only thing that bothered me little was the glue that's included in package didn't work. I think it dried up. But I made it with super glue so it worked!Item is also good for decorations. I am thinking to buy few more just for interior.

perfect

Amazing! The seller is putting this out for a FRACTION of what it is sold on the Robotime website. Shipping was extremely fast and the product came intact. For the item itself, not really for kids. More so geared towards teens/young adults. Very fun and easy to put together if you're competent enough to read instructions. However, some parts will need to be glued down further than what is instructed for further durability. As for the top part, the spinner was a little bit finicky but after sanding down some of the gears, it moves fine when the music box is winded up. Took about 4-5 hours in one sitting to complete, would recommend to anyone. Only drawback is batteries are not included.
