I was very pleasantly surprised by this hairdryer and would 100% purchase as a gift.About my hair: Naturally strawberry blonde, long (over halfway down back), the hairs themselves are thin but there are a LOT of them resulting in a thick heavy mane. I usually use a professional 3800 watt hairdryer.This Remington dryer is heavy/solid, ergonomic, and does a very good job. The brush it comes with isn't the greatest but as part of a gift set it is a nice touch. The only things I can fault are that it can overheat easily, and that you have to remove the attachments in order to fit it back into its bag. Great gift set. It comes with a stylish roomy bag that fits all hair-dryer accessories, brush and additional hair products. Fantastic for when you are travelling. The hair dryer itself is on the quieter side and the buttons/switches are easy to locate and use when you are using the hair dryer and not looking at it. I have thin curly hair, and it worked exceptionally well with the diffuser for my hair and the brush is a good size for shorter hair. It would benefit from a longer cord but definitely no issues with the length that it is. All in all, would recommend it as a gift for someone.

I liked the hair dryer design, it's good quality plastic body, well made, sleek and quite lightweight. There are 3 heat settings which I found really useful. Also has a button to increase the fan speed. Another useful button is the cool air button for quick finishing after styling hair. The gift pack comes in a very beautiful velvet bag for storage, all the bits can be stored in there. It comes with 2 heads, a concentrator and a diffuser and a round hair brush. I've naturally wavy hair and found the diffuser pretty useful to dry my hair, defining the natural curls without causing a lot of frizz. Overall I think it would make a very good gift.
