[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] In receipt of the item I noticed the size of the box. The packaging was well excessive upon opening. The razor comes with a charger, blade cover, and small brush. The quality is as expected for this price point. I used the razer several times and found it easy to clean post use. The F2 was extremely noisy when powered, and was constantly pulling any longer whiskers causing discomfort. Post shave I found the unit was causing irritation to my skin, resulting in rash, bumps and not perfect results. The build of the unit is fairly solid and mostly black plastic. For the razors price point I would say it is on the mark.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] The Remington F2 was great for quick shaves on flat and simple facial areas, like the cheeks and side burn areas. It left a great smooth surface and did not pinch or cut the face. However, the shaver does not work on defined facial features as it does not flex enough. It was completely useless on the neck and jaw line. The flip out grooming tool was alright but always had issues with it staying up. Further, the razor takes a very long time to charge almost 12-16 hours. Overall the razor is good for flat areas on the face and very quick shave for when you’re running very late to work. I wouldn’t recommend this shave to people who have more hair in defined areas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] Thank you for the opportunity to trial the Remington F2002AU Style Series Foil Shaver! After trialing for a couple of weeks I have noted the many differences of effectiveness of the shaver with the length of hair growth. 7 days growth: the shaver pulled on the hair and struggled to cut. 5 days growth: whilst the shaver did not pull on the hair it did struggle to cut. 2-3 days of growth: showed optimum performance. A great advantage is the "Pop-Up Trimmer" for those tidy side burns and under nose areas. Very travel friendly with the universal voltage and lasting charge. I also found the shaver an ergonomic and comfortable in my hand and easy to clean.

I found this shave to be excellent - for the price. I bought it when I left my Braun Series 9 Pro behind on a holiday and needed a shaver while I awaited its return. Saw the other reviews so wasn’t expecting a lot but for $39 it shaves exceptionally well. Yes it struggles with any longer hairs but the included trimmer takes care of that and it provides a good close shave. In comparison a new shaver head for the Braun is $118!

The F2 Style Series Foil from Remington has been a nice surprise for me and my partner. Before this he used another Remington shaver and he was super pleased with that as well. This specific beard trimmer works well, it is portable and it has a good precision. I think the level of noise is ok, however it could be better. As per the battery life, it lasts enough for multiple daily use.

The striking thing about this razor is how lightweight it is. I imagine that this would make it excellent to travel with, as you could easily take this abroad on limited weight luggage. This extends to the charger, which is also lightweight and small. The shave is pretty good, of you're the kind of person that clean shaves. The back razor is okay for tidying up edges but wouldn't be a replacement for those who like to style facial hair. Overall, it fits the bill of a cheap, cheerful razor that won't take up too much space and gives dependable performance out of the box.

The Remington F2 is a Foil shaver which does a great job. The foils contoured the shape of my face well getting a comfortable and clean shave with ease. The pop up feature is a great addition for detailing neck hair hair, sideburns or moustache. To charge it requires a universal shaver socket often present in most hotels, if you don’t have one at home you will need a converter plug these are cheap and easy to get hold of. Once charged it gives you around 40 minutes which is plenty of time to do a regular shave. The shave feels robust and well made.

My husband tested the Remington F2 Style Foil Shaver for a month so these are his thoughts in my words.POSITIVES: It's lightweight, easy to use and sits nicely in the hand. The precision trimmer is great for sideburns. It has good battery life and a low price point.NEGATIVES: A good clean shave takes longer to get than with his usual electric shaver. The F2 tends to pull/pluck hairs longer than overnight stubble rather than shave them. It's also a bit on the noisy side.

My partner has been using this a month. The overall look of the razor was good, it looked expensive and good quality. However, upon using, I don't think this was for me. The foil trimmer does get a little stuck to hairs at times. I did like the precision trimmer to shape the beard line which was useful. I didn't find it very powerful if I'm honest. It was simple to clean and easy to store away.
