Have always been a Pyrex gal but this batch just was not it. The spout is doing who knows what and liquid will pour anywhere except where it should. Gutted as previous ones have been fine.

You cannot go wrong with Pyrex and this (very cute) small size jug is a must have for every kitchen, so useful and will last forever, it's a true classic. Wilko have it priced lower than anywhere else, even when not on offer, so thank you Wilko, although I will say I am still upset that they no longer offer free postage if you spend ÂŁ50, you now have to spend ÂŁ100 but I'm a big fan and will always shop here for everyday essentials and am constantly surprised by their wonderful range of products. I come back again and again and always sing their praises to anyone that will listen :)
I needed something that could measure to 250ml so decided to get this jug. If it was not sold by Robert Dyas, I would have though this was an imitation product of Pyrex. I have the 500ml jug but this does not “measure up” to that. The lines printed on the sides of the jug are not the same. And it is so close to the lip you can easily spill. Therefore I have to measure less than 250ml so not to spill. I have no problem with the 500ml jug which leaves plenty of gap to the top. I would have liked to return this product if it wasn’t due to restrictions during lockdown.

It is a classic! Pyrex can withstand heat and cold. It resists stains and dye colours and always washes up looking like new. Virtually unbreakable.
Pyrex is a quality brand, I bought this to replace a plastic measuring jug, being glass if cleans nice and easily without the staining you get with plastic. Nice clear red markings on jug making it easy to read.
Had one of these years ago been meaning to replace it but could never find one. Not the sort of size the super markets would carry I suppose. How ever now got one from the internet. Used a lot already. Very happy with my purchase.
By having two, I can divide a tin of Heinz Tomato Soup equally between them. ( I buy them as Multi-buy!). I put one in the fridge for next day. The other I pour milk in up to the 400 ml. level (For a 400 g tin). I Blend the liquid until froth on top. That puts it over the 400 ml. mark. I then divide it equally between two large Spode soup plates, (Blue Italian), one for me and one for my wife. For her, I cut the middle of a slice of white sandwich loaf into 4 thin strips. The outer pieces she has buttered with Comb Honey on fingers, the strips I cut into tiny cubes. I add these to her soup after Microwaving for 1 min. 40 secs. It Tastes great and is a pleasure she can enjoy in spite of her Dementia!!
