Delicious protein bars

These chocolate mint cookies protein bars taste close to regular mint candy bars (no protein bar will ever taste exactly like a regular candy bar). This flavor and the chocolate peanut caramel are the 2 that I like. They're sweet but not overly sweet like the other Pure Protein bar flavors. The texture is soft and chewy compared to many protein bars that are chalky. I use them after a workout and for a snack or breakfast if I'm short on time. I keep one in my purse for times that I may get stuck somewhere without food for a while. IE: recently was at an ER vet hospital for several hours and I was really glad to have one of them.

Tried the Pure Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar from Iherb, and I must say, it's been a tasty treat. The combination of chocolate and peanut butter is always a win for me. It's quite satisfying as a quick snack between meals or after a workout. The texture is chewy, and it feels substantial enough to keep me going. However, taste preferences vary, and some might find it a bit too sweet or not their cup of tea. Personally, I enjoy it, but I'm not here to push anyone into buying it. If you're into chocolate and peanut butter flavors and need a convenient protein bar, you might want to give it a shot.

Great invention Walmart...cardboard boxes!

I've been buying for a few years so am not so much reviewing the product as the rough road it apparently travelled to get here. Granted, summer isn't best time to order things that can melt and I live in CA desert but I knew that going in. As usual, with anything ordered from Walmart, always prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Couldn't prepare enough for the totally crushed mess I received today. Why in the world would the mental midgets at Walmart think that a box with soft chocolate containing bars would travel well in a plastic bag? Have you heard of small boxes? Can't say it's a surprise, considering I consider the Walmart organization as a whole a rather dim bulb but this I think could have probably been better handled by a 6 year old. You add Walmart incompetence to don't care FedEx and I guess I got what was to be expected.

Great snack for an energy boost, when you’re busy.

Very satisfying snack. Just slip one in your purse or your pocket. And when you get too rushed to eat a decent meal, you have that snack to rely on. It’s also a great source of protein, which really helps if your watching your waistline. And there also a great energy booster, to get you through your day. I also use these in my diet. I like them when, I’m the only one at home. And I don’t feel like cooking, Especially when it’s hot outside. You can even pop them in the freezer for a nice cool treat. (Just be careful, some freezers tend to make them super hard.)

However, I’m offended

I’ve been buying pure protein bars for the past five years. The chocolate salted caramel are by far my favorite as far as taste, second goes to chocolate. I’m a little put off that the manufacture has reduced the size of the bar and raised the price. I was paying $6.94. But I guess this is how you make your money back after Covid🤨hey (I got an idea guys why don’t we reduce the package size to four and charge $10.94. )I don’t understand what makes companies think that screwing the public is the best way to go? I mean do they really think we don’t know what they’re doing. They’re a full inch shorter each bar. I see you.

I've purchased this flavor before and they were very good, this box? not so much. I purchased the Chocolate Deluxe for the first time and every other bite had this hideous taste. These have that hideous taste throughtout the entire bar. Best way I can describe the taste is a combination of rotten fish and ammonia, or kind of like what a dirty cat litter box smells like. I spit out the second bite and spent the next 20 minutes in a state of nausea. I must wonder if these are actually TOXIC. DON'T BUY THESE. I WILL be returning these to the store for a refund or another flavor, Target is pretty good about these kinds of things.
