I am impressed with how heavy duty this XL Box Grater is. It is quite a bit larger than my current one and much more durable feeling. My old one is very old, but still works great and is very sharp. However, it is not built as sturdily as this new one and the handle has become bent from many years of use. While it still does what I need it to do, the bent handle makes it hard to hold on to sometimes so it was definitely time for an upgrade. This new one is very large which is great. I like how big this is, it's quite large and has 4 different sides. Not sure why the slicer side only has one slicer cutout, as I've had previous ones that had three slice cutouts. The other sizes are variable for different shredding sizes, I typically don't use the teeny-tiny shredder for anything.The bottom metal is clamped upward which could end up being an issue with retaining water. The main complaint I have is with the removable bottom rubber piece. It's great a preventing sliding around but it's not the easiest to get back on and unless you want it to get moldy, you need to take it off and wash it.I haven't had this product long enough to comment on longevity or if it rusts.Overall good and serves it's purpose, especially for the pricepoint.
