Posca Fine 8 Color Set

A lot of what I said in my review for the Medium Point set applies here:" No problems with running dry, skipping or scratching. The paint also resists bleeding on every paper so far (even sticky notes!).The only real inconvenience I've run into so far is the expected one: the lighter colours (especially the white) are weak on non-porous surfaces. Almost every artist I know is looking for the perfect white for highlights and drawing over black ink, and I'm sorry to say this isn't quite it. It's close, though!"However! I hit a slight problem with this set.As I went through the colours I found that the fine-tips are a pain in the neck to prime! At least with my set, it seemed even the quickest little dip of pressure was enough to exude a blob of paint and leave me with a mess to clean up. Be warned. After that, though, I'm happy to report that the Posca markers still perform far better than any other paint markers I've tried. I just regret the waste right off the bat!

What’s to say, these paint pens are famous? They work so great on mixed media art work. They will perform on ANY SURFACE. I LOVE THEM. The fine point is perfect for just about anything.

literally the greatest art item i've ever purchased. these are so much fun to draw with

These are the first paint markers I've used and they are delightful. Coverage is excellent, love the extra fine point for detail work and there isn't any smell when using the markers (a definite if you, like me, are sensitive to scents). Good coverage when building up colors on top of each other (once the base color is dry, of course).

These extra-fine point pens are just what I was looking for! They work really well and the color selection is perfect. Thank you!

I previously ordered the Medium point Posca paint markers and fell in love with them so I wanted to order more with a smaller point size for details. These are excellent quality markers with vibrant colors and little to no odor. Before purchasing the extra fine point, I read some other reviews and hesitated when seeing others report globs of paint coming out. This has only happened to me twice, both times when I first opened and used the markers, pressing down repeatedly on the tips. Haven't had any issues since. The paint flows out smoothly and with good consistency. If you angle the markers slightly, you can get bolder streaks so I think these could be an interesting experimental choice for calligraphy. The length of the marker is smaller than that of the medium ... MoreI previously ordered the Medium point Posca paint markers and fell in love with them so I wanted to order more with a smaller point size for details. The length of the marker is smaller than that of the medium point and the barrel is slimmer so it fits nicely in hand. A bit pricey for my taste, but very much worth it.

Love these and wish they were available with smaller nibs. I use them in my "Secret Garden" adult coloring book--many tiny images like leaves and vines.

A good product in a convienient carry case

The price is great, the carry case is a really good idea and all the pens are fit for purpose

Bought it for my daughter and she thinks it is fantastic

Very good product does what it says on the pack.

Simply wonderful

I belong to a rock painting group in Vancouver Washington. These pens are excellent for drawing on the rocks. Everyone is buying them. I love mine.
