I've given this appliance five stars as I like everything about it. Its well built, compact, nice design, easy to use and quiet.I am obsessed about quality and safety and I have seen some other air fryers that made me reluctant to buy an air fryer as I felt that they were of poor quality and even hazardous, but this one is of fantastic quality, construction and design. I've used it to cook losts of things, such as meatballs, steaks, chops, Salmon, Wild Mushrooms, roasted Veg, Chestnuts... even a chicken, but my favourite is trying potatoes in several ways. We no longer need to get frozen chips as real fresh chips made in this air Fryer are so good!. Overall it saves us energy by not putting the oven on and cooks things in half the time. This an excellent airfyer, and we have used it two or three times every week since we got it. Unfortunately, the display has stopped working, shortly after the warranty expired. It is cheaper to buy a new one, than have this repaired. It appears to be a display problem!Please make more durable products. This is adding to the waste in the world and goes so strongly against Sustainablity.

I love the product but am disappointed that Phillips has chosen not to stock accessories for my XL.It would be nice to get the pizza drawer for my XL or the Grill Plate. I have had to purchase some accessories from Asian suppliers of generics.The Phillips web site sends me to the parts supplier that does not sell accessories.The WiFi connectivity is amazing, love it to bits. Like putting food in ahead of time (reasonable time though, not hours) and then starting remotely from my device.
As what I deem to be quite a costly Airfryer compared to some others on the market I did have high expectations of the XL Airfryer and it did not disappoint!It is a great size for cooking for a family of 5 and the basket is easily attached / detached. It has a touchscreen display for using which has some pre-set functions such as fresh fries, frozen things, baking, ect and easy to adjust temperature and time however there is a NutriU App which I mainly used to control it due to the easiness of it. It even has a keep warm section! I love that I can start prep things inside the air fryer and could be bathing the children and BOOM I start cooking from the opposite end of the house! All of the foods I cooked in the airfryer came out brilliantly, I must say actually better than using my conventional oven. All piping hot throughout and nice and golden and crispy on the outside. You do have to give tray a shake every few minutes if you're cooking chips for example to make sure they're all evenly cooked but this is extremely easy to do. I even reheated some sausage rolls and they came out like they were freshly cooked. The WiFi function is fantastic, so many recipes on the app to help you make the most out of your airfryer. Didn't have this problem in the app though, the app was so easy to use.

It's got a large capacity which holds full meals for the family. It's good to cook everything from cakes, chips to lasagna or roasted veg. It's so handy for quickly cooking things you fancy because there no time to preheat it - the kids are lovely potato waffles, beans and bacon at the moment...done in 8mins!!It's quiet when working and has lots of functions. It does send reminders to the phone when things need shaking or about to finish which is handy when not in kitchen. I suppose you could use the app to turn on the fryer while out the house if you left food ready to be cooked, but not sure we would!I suffer from a gluten intolerance and the app allowed me to filter to the recipes suitable for me.Very easy to clean too. Just fill with hot soapy water after use and it all wipes clean in seconds.
