Supercheap had this on sale for half the price so I picked one up for my first self-oil change. My 2004 Accord has been leaking badly and the mechanics ripped me off heaps, just for the leaks to continue ruining my day. I asked around and a bunch of older guys told me to switch to a thicker grade of oil. At the time, my Accord was running Castrol Edge 5W-30 and it was leaking about 500~1000ml of oil every 1000km. After the oil change, I noticed the engine was running much smoother on highway. Took the car for a long ride from Perth to Jarrahdale on Kwinana freeway and noticed it sailed like a butter on a fresh slice of sandwich. The oil leak was also reduced as well. As expected from Penrite, quality is a non-debate!

Great 100% full synthetic oil. I use this oil in a DR650SE for winter. I switch to a PAO 100% Full Synthetic 10W-60 for the hot summer temps as the shear resistance is required in the gearbox on an air cooled thumper in stop start traffic and extended periods sitting at traffic lights waititng for the green one on days when its +40 deg C in Perth.

Heck yes champions. If your looking for the ultimate slippery bit of kit for your motor then search no more. This stuff is so slippery the engine will take off like a re-enactment of an NASA rocket motor take off to the moon. In fact , careful throttle control is highly recommended as you may just change the earth's rotational orbit and that might put us all in a spot of bother. The best bit though it comes with a super sticky label to shove on ya Windscreen so you can see when you last did an oil change on your Saturn 7 rocket motor.Highly recommended

Being using PENRITE oils for the last 30 years. Cannot recommend this oil enough. Even after years use when engine needed a freshen up there was no need to do any clean up !!! No residual sludge whatsoever, just drain quick clean , new rings and bearings , put together whalla. Done
I've been using full synthetic for many years in my Amarok and it keeps it running smoothly without fault. I change oil every 5 to 8k depending on where I've been and done, the oil still has good tac qualities at end of life. Motor is without DPF, EGR and all the unnecessary things so it will run happily on this oil.
A well priced synthetic oil, and a reputable brand. Pair this with a good brand of synth oil filter, and you'll get good mileage between oil changes. 6Lt bottle gives you plenty for any top ups with most cars. I usually only buy this when it's on special, and stock up with an extra bottle or two if I have servicing planned for other family cars. Good service at this branch, and the store is set out nicely.
If you’ve got an engine without the latest technology which has some kilometres on it this is the oil for you. Ive got a 2010 petrol landcruiser with 170k on the clock and the 2UZ 4.7 V8 in it was first introduced over 20 years ago. They did update it with variable valve timing (narrow oil passageways in the head) which the synthetic additives in this oil are suited for. Quality Aussie product that won’t let you down. Engine runs like a peach on this stuff - no chatter or chuntering.
I have been using Penrite lubricants for around 40 years. I have found their products to be superior to other brands in all applications. They promote more oil pressure, engine cleanliness and maintain viscosity right up to the next oil change. And they're Australian owned and made. I try to buy their products when on special, because they are great value as well.
I tend to do my own oil changes so i was seaching for a product that gets a good wrap and Penrite sems to fit that bill.I do my oil changes early mainly because I now do not do many long runs these days therefore I believe it is a good idea to do oil changes earlier than req!! Thats just my opinon. I try to buy the oil when it is on special to keep the cost down.
Dear SCA, I have used Penrite oil for many years & will continue so. My servicing business, 'All-out Autos' also uses Penrite, even though I stipulate it, so that many customers obviously benefit for the superior quality of Penrite. I heard a talk by the founder of the company, many years ago at the Veteran Car Club, & was very impressed by that account of the origin of their products.
