I purchased this vest for a early summer hike up Mt Washington NH. Served it’s purpose well. Well made and warm for it’s weight. Great features, but for me, I would like to have had mid waist draw cord. Otherwise, perfect.

I own several vests and the Ultralight Down Sweater is the best one yet. It's light weight and fairly trim fitting. Extremely well made and surprisingly warm for how thin it is. I've always had good luck with Patagonia gear and this one is top notch. Highly recommended!
It's perfect for packing a little extra warmth on the move. When you're done it evaporates into your pack. Of course, Patagonia standard quality so it's bomber - Awesome.
As expected keeps me warm of days of 45-55. Ok to wear inside or out. Black color is a tad shiny

It is warm, comfortable and not at all bulky. It is the perfect addition to my wardrobe, I wear it every day. I highly recommend for cold climates.
The fabric is really light. For $50 more, you can have sleeves. For another $50 more, you can have sleeves and a hood.
