Parlux Advance Light Black Ceramic & Ionic Hair Dryer

I got this Parlux about a year ago and it's amazing. It's quiet, lightweight, and keeps my hair healthy. It's much better than the GHD Air I had before it. I also tend to like it better than the Dyson. But I guess it's a personal thing. I love that they are still made in small numbers in Italy, but one downfall is it's not dual voltage. So I cannot take it with me to places like Japan, North America et cetera. It is only for use in 220v-240v countries. So that's literally the only reason it did lose one star. It attaches to the motor end and reduces the noise even more. But it's not a necessity, as it's very quiet on its own. Quieter than Dyson and any other high end hair dryer. Another top quality hair dryer by Parlux

Having owned the 3800 for a number of years which has never missed a beat, buying another Parlux, now for my daughter was a no- brainer. I love that it's light and very easy to manoeuvre, the salon length cord is also great. She is able to get her super thick hair dry in around 7 mins.

Fabulous Parlux dryer, great price at Myer

This dryer was recommended by my hairdresser. I was a little taken aback by the price however when it was on special at Myer I couldn’t resist. I absolutely love it, so lightweight, small and easy to handle. I have very fine hair and using this Parlux dryer has completely stopped fly away ends. Love it and worth the $s.

This hair dryer is a modern device, light and comfortable. I bought it instead of my old one. Hair dry without electrostatic charge, without overdrying, at the same time quickly. The special soft styler does volume well.

Great hairdryer. Light weight to hold so no arm soreness. I also find that my hair is not fly away anymore and I don't need to use a straightener as much. My hair feels much healthier and smoother.

It’s a cult brand for a reason

You’ve read the hype around Parlux - and it’s all true. I’ve spent my life using $30 hairdryers and having my colour fade quicker and my hair dry out. The Parlux shouldn’t do this. I have to say that it took me a couple of go’s to use it correctly - it’s pretty powerful so I was getting frizzy hair at the end. My tips are to dry in one direction only (root to tip), don’t hold the dryer too close, section your hair, towel-dry first and use a heat protectant spray. My hair looks glossy and sleek and lasts like that for a week. You can use three heat settings and a cold blast and it’s easy to hold and small enough for travel. Recommend this!

Light weight, quick to dry - worth the investment

I have long thick hair and weak wrists - my hairdresser recommended this Parlux to me and now I'll never go back to other brands/products! So light weight, quick to dry, and my hair is softer/smoother than with previous hairdryers. So worth the investment.

I am very pleased I ordered this light Parlux. If you need a slower heat stream without too much force it will deliver. The colour is very pretty and it is light enough for travel. It will probably last as long as I will!

After my old VS travel hair dryer died after many years, I decided to splurge on a new dryer. I did some research and settled on the Parlux advance light given the reviews and general love for this brand and make all over the net. I found a tester in store and you can tell this is a superior product immediately after comparing to other dryers. I don't really style my hair, but I wanted something that would dry it quickly, wasn't too loud and in the off chance I needed to style it, I could. And this dryer is all that and more. After the first time drying my hair, it was super airy and bouncy, nothing like before. And it took 5 mins for mid length, thick hair. Definitely worth it and I'm excited to use it again and again.
