Let me just say that when I opened the lid to this conditioner and smelled it, I actually smiled. I so love the scent of cocoa butter. Then I squeezed a dab on my finger to find out how creamy it was and it is very creamy. My hair has been silver and platinum for several years now. It happen very early for me. Needless to say, my hair felt dry and coarse with split ends. After I shampooed my hair, I will squeeze as much water from my hair as possible, even using a wash cloth to help squeeze more out. I love Palmer's old school cocoa butter lotion. I also have long(past my shoulders) naturally wavy hair that I color and heat style. So I was excited to try Palmer's Cocoa Butter & Biotin Length Retention Conditioner created for all curl patterns and textures. I'm a fan of the scent of Palmer's cocoa butter lotion and though this conditioner would smell the same or be rather similar. That scent is there but there is also a lot of added fragrance. I'm not sure what kind but the added fragrance is a heavy floral scent and I do not care for it at all. Plus it makes me sneeze. The consistency of the product is thick and creamy. If you like the fragrance, I'd say go ahead and try it as it may work well for you.

Good conditioner. it's so thick it doesn't come out easily and has no slip i couldn't detangle with it but conditions very well.the hair feels soft and strong and your curls will pop up after rinsing it.not fan of the smell it's a bit weird but it doesn't linger at all. i will definitely repurchase this product thank youi hope my review helped ❤
I have used Palmers length retention conditioner 3 to 4 times since receiving. I initially prefer thicker conditioners, and this is nice consistency. It is creamy, and has a great fragrance. It does make my hair feel cleaner and healthier. My daughter has also been using in her curly hair and it actually conditions her hair very well. I like that it works for different textures of hair and is hydrating and beneficial. I recommend this conditioner based on personal use and results.
The cocoa butter smell is very strong in this conditioner. Usually I like the smell a lot, but it’s a little much for this product. The conditioner itself is very thick, very similar to the thickness of the Palmer’s brand lotion. After leaving it in my hair overnight, I gave my head a good rinse and it left my hair feeling soft and looking glossy. It felt so moisturized and smooth.
Recently I tried Palmer's Cocoa Butter Length Retention Conditioner. Palmer's conditioner worked really good on my hair. The conditioner left my hair soft, shiney and almost frizz free. My hair is pretty long and usually tangles when I wash it. But I noticed after using Palmer's conditioner that I had very few tangles and the ones I had left were easy to comb out. Has a really nice scent. Palmer's conditioner has vitamins and Biotin which is supposed to be good for your hair. It also helps to protect your hair from breakage, tangles, and is color safe . That's great to have all that in one conditioner. Good product !!
Very creamy consistency. Slip was ok. I applied to wet hair. I let it sit about 10 minutes and then rinsed. My hair felt hydrated and I was able to use my wide tooth comb without excess shedding. Smells like cocoa butter of course but I found the scent mild. Decent rinse out.
I love Palmers products and this is no exception. I love how it smells and feels in my hair. Knowing that it is strengthing my hair while it detangles and adds shine is a great thing. Its so soft and creamy when you apply it into your hair. When you rinse it feels even softer and smoother. Combing or brushing afterwards is a breeze too, no nasty tangles. My hair feels so soft and smooth and is so shiny too. I love knowing that with each use I am doing great things for my hair. Protects against damage and breakage so can get the maximum length that I want. Simply love it.
