The length is good and the handle allows a firm grip. The shedding of plastic after using it in the pan, surprises me, a thin "peeling" came off on the first use, making hash browns and eggs. I thought it would be able to manage heat and not do this, so far no spatulas I use can resist the heat of an iron skillet.

I figured a turner is just a turner; no big deal. But when the tip of my previous turner started to look melted, I decided I'd try something different. Since I just purchased this one, I really can't say how it will look in the distant future, but I'm impressed by how easy the food slides off onto the plate, and also how easy it washes clean. So I'd recommend it, if you're looking to try something new.

I needed a good spatula with holes. When I saw that OXO had the perfect answer to my need, I snapped this up. My husband who loves to cook more than I do is also ecstatic over this spatula. It's strong, sturdy, flexible, and it has holes. I think this one will last us for years and years. Definitely recommend!
My kitchen is mostly done in red accents, which is why this spatula caught my eye. Love that it's silicone, and it does a great job turning eggs without breaking the yolk. Perfect for all the fancy new finishes on pans these days. I'm using Red Copper and Copper Chef and its perfect for these pans. Very pleased.
I broke my Calphalon branded spatula after years of use. I do best with a round turner and had trouble finding one that was similar to my old one. Others I found were too big (giant!), or had a solid face; I wanted "slotted". Calphalon only sells the one I like in a bundle, but I don't need a bundle! So found this, was concerned about the review mentioning that it melted on them, so I went to the store. LOVED it. It is exactly the size I wanted, not too big, same size as a regular turner, except this one is rounded. I also do terribly with silicone spatulas as the edges are not firm enough for me, so glad this one is nylon. I have had no problems with it melting at all and it has a perfect edge for slipping under frying eggs and making them easily flippable. This round Turner is perfect for fried eggs. I wish Oxo would make this round turner in silicone without holes. The shape and the size is just right. Some spatulas like Oxo's all silicone spatula is narrow and straight, not a good design of the silicone Turner that Oxo already makes.
Very disappointed as it melted after a few uses. Only have used it to cook eggs on a non-stick pan. Feel it should have been more durable than that! Oxo is typically a good brand so maybe was defective.
The edge of the spatula melted after using it two times. I had to try and shave the melted part so it did not get in our food before using again. It is plastic but I thought it could stand heat high enough to turn eggs and potatoes. This is the first OXO product I have not been happy with.
I bought this to replace an incredibly cheap nylon turner I had for over 35 years before it finally broke. It never melted and was an excellent product. OXO usually makes top quality products so I bought this expecting it to be at least as good as the old one. Unfortunately, the edge melted right off the bat and lost its sharpness. I use it for exactly the same purposes and at the same temperatures as the old one - removing eggs and other foods from a cast iron pan. I never leave it in the pan so it isn't exposed to heat for extended periods. It's a definite disappointment.
