OXO Good Grips Cast Iron Brush

I bought this OXO Cast iron brush a couples months ago and I LOVE it!! I was having such a hard time keeping our cast iron pan clean, most of the things I cook don't stick, but every once in a while things do and it is very hard to clean. This brush definitely lives up to the name. The bristles are very stiff making it easy to have leverage when scrapping off stuck on food. It also does not hurt your pan which I love even more. I rarely have to use soap and water, which is nice because it keeps your pan seasoned. Best cast iron product bought yet!

Best cleaning gadget for Lodge Grills.

All I use for cooking is Lodge with the exception of a couple of sauce pans. I love how this tool really gets into the groove(s) (Madonna song) and takes out any caked residue. I love saving money during this recession by making burgers on my stovetop. They taste a million times better. This little tool makes for a clean pan for the next use.

Dishes/Pots/Pans Scrubber

Very handy scrubber to have around the sink in the kitchen. Works great on cast iron, but works equally as well on other pots and pans. Even cleans up potatoes before cooking. Highly recommend this kitchen addition!

Good brush overal

The brush cleans our cast iron pans very well. The only negative is the length of the handle. Slightly longer would make it easier to hold and use.

Has damaged my seasoning more than once.

My seasoning flakes off when I use this... and this is the type of seasoning that stands up to high abuse from my metal spatchula and is non stick enough to fry an egg. At first I thought it was the tough food stuck on the pan, thus the reason I was using the brush. But after using this brush on my bare oldest and most seasoned pan I realized it was indeed the brush scraping the seasoing off. Its like it grabs the smallest divot and peels it back.I'll stick with a blue Scott sponge and some mild soap from now on.

Recently purchased this product for my Lodge frying pans . I no longer dread cleaning them after each use . It is amazing how this simple oxo products works so well , and so quickly. ! Luv and own many oxo products . Thank you Crate & Barrel for selling this product. I have not seen it anywhere else.

Perfect LITTLE Kitchen Tool!!!

I was excited when I found this little tool. I recently inherited my mother's cast iron griddle pan and it was a chore to clean the grooves. I've been using this on my iron skillets. Because you cannot use water on iron skillets. It's the best cleaner to remove food...Best brush ever...

Where have you been all my life

I have bought this brush a few times and even gifted it to friends and family who also use cast iron in their kitchens. My kitchen routine after cooking a meal before this brush was a whole lot of frustration and frankly mess. Since using this brush to clean my pans I have hesitation about pulling out the cast iron or what I might cook in them because I know cleanup will be easy and nearly effortless. Not only is it might, it has never messed up any of my cast iron or anyone I know. Love this thing!
