Ortofon - Concorde MKII Digital Twin

When I first got these I was initially disappointed that one of the cartridges was not working. I contacted American Musical Supply who got me in touch with ortofon. Ortofon was incredibly easy to work with, they explained what they thought the issue might be but still exchanged my product with a new one. As an added bonus they asked to test the new cartridges before they sent them out to me to ensure their quality. I received the new cartridges a few days later made sure i followed their instructions to a T. and the cartridges worked amazingly. I cannot begin to tell anyone how great these cartridges for Djing.

The needles are great, love the sound, and quality, however when I first got them, I experienced, and still experience what I believe to be a connection issue with my turntable. I still think Ortofon needs to address the connection points on the cartridge in proximity to the connection points on the tone arm. Not sure if any other turntable users have experienced this problem as well, but other than that, I am pleased with the product.

I finally went back to my turntables & I need a set of cartridges and these are amazing. I would purchase the scratch version next to test them out but these sounds great and do a perfect job

I use these with T.92 turntables. They definitely put out luder signal for healthy timecode dvs feed. Perfect with Traktor pro 3. Takes about 2 weeks to break in. Makes sure to run old vinyl on it for hours and hours so it can break in quicker. Scratching smoothly will take some time as with any needle. I play mostly house and dubstep and they carry a nice punch. They highs do sound a bit toned back so you will need to add a bit especially when hearing hi hats in house. If you mostly use dvs. It's a must.

I purchased these based on a recommendation from Mojaxx at DJ City's YouTube. Sound quality is 5/5, at least from my smaller speaker set up. When I am just listening to my records I love these carts. For DJing, I'm not sure. I've tried to do a solid 20 hour break in period before actually scratching/back cueing/etc. and they don't seem to track that great. I'm a former DJ, that just bought a set of decks after a ten year hiatus. I'm really out of practice. But I know how to balance the tone arms, and these carts just skip more than the beat up M447 with a bent stylus that came with my used turntable does. I'll give them some more time to break in, but for now I'm disappointed with tracking. They sound great though, but I doubt anyone would buy these just to listen ... MoreI purchased these based on a recommendation from Mojaxx at DJ City's YouTube. Great product, great service

Just got the 1210s back out after c.10 years and was looking for an entry level crisp sound to get back into groove. Great product, great service!

Ortofon Concorde MKII Club Twin

I've used the Ortofon Concorde Pro for more then 10 years. I wanted to try something else. Sound is defenitely better then before. More details in the high and the bass sounds better. The volume is also louder. A little bit more sensitive for scratches records. Some records skip where they don't skip with the Ortofon Pro.

Perfect...

Took my time in selecting the right heads for my turntables these are perfect, sound fantastic on real vinyl and work a treat on control discs of all types, come in a beautiful box for safe storage and transportation. not the cheapest but as with everything you get what you pay for. another perfect transaction on the mighty djkit.co.uk. came well packaged and in good time.thank you.

Problem with needle connection but tech guy sorted out.

The needles work great. I had a problem with them and when I called up the staff at dj kit put me on to the technical department who talked me through possible problems. It turned out that because my needles had been on my tone arm so long there was dust on the connections. I used a cotton bud and alcohol gel, as instructed by tech guy and it worked a treat. The staff are really knowledgeable and any time I deal with them they go above and beyond.

Quality carts from Ortofon

These are not my first Ortofon carts and are just what I expected them to be - high quality, loud and accurate. They're elyptical so not meant for scratching and shouldn't be scratched with but they have other advantages over spherical styluses like the more detailed sound.
