I started using this product, along with the serum , day cream with spf, and eye cream, approximately 6 weeks ago. I have used Origin products since 1999 but noticed my fine lines were becoming more and more obvious. This moisturizer absorbs well and does not leave a greasy feeling on my face. When I first started using it, I applied it every other night for one week. There was no adverse reaction so I then started applying it nightly. I like it the fact it contains Retinol but haven't used it long enough to know how well it helps with skin turnover and reducing uneven skin tone on my face. However, I wanted to give this a try because Retinol is gentler than Retin-A. Also, the latter requires a doctor's prescription and is not covered by my insurance.

I am extremely picky with what I put on my skin. I have used prescription strength Retin A but did not like the dryness and flaking. Plantscriptions retinol gave me the same retina A benefits without redness, dryness or flaking. I use it before bed and do not even need a night time moisturizer, just a little eye cream. My skin stays smooth, glowing and looks much younger than my 65 years!

Smells horrible, like sour clay, and feels much the same as you spread it across your face. It's thick, cloying and leaves a sticky residue. Takes ages to sink in and leaves my skin feeling rough. Conversely, Night-a-Mins makes my skin feel baby soft, smells incredible and vanishes into my skin leaving nothing but a silky texture behind.Other Origins products are worth their price tag in that a little goes a long way. Not so much with this. I needed twice as much as of this as my Night-a-Mins moisturiser to cover just my face, and even more to extend it to my neck. How is this prohibitively expensive product, sold in mean quantities at over twice the price of most other Origins moisturisers, less efficient and effective than those moisturisers?Just gross in ... This is an expensive product, but it has worked well for me. It's my go to for smoothing out my fine lines. It makes a huge difference in my frown lines, and helps to keep my breakouts at bay. I'm always surprised by all the negative reviews, but I guess when a product is potent like this one, there's always the chance that it is irritating to some. I keep coming back to this, please keep selling!!!

Please read about retinol before using this cream. It works exactly as intended. If you want to save on other products that make the side effects milder then do not buy or do not complain.Instructions are very clear and the product works with great results. I'm 49 and I have no visible wrinkles. Retinol will make your skin peel. That's how it works. I use it more during the winter months, when I spend more time indoors , away from the sun. I have been using Origins products for over 20 years. There are some products I like better than others for my skin type, but this retinol night moisturizer has some seriously BAD side effects! I have never written a review for Origins products, but I feel this warning is needed for others. After using the specified amount for a few days, my face broke out into red burning skin, the burning has lasted for several days and nothing I have put on to soothe it helps at all. Total waste of money for an expensive product that has awful results! Total bummer too, I was hoping this retinol product would help with my fine lines around the eyes. So disappointed!!!

I like that you say start out using it every other night or even once a week and then build up because that way you'll find what works for you. My skin is clearer and happier when I use Origins and it really shows. The ginger products I absolutely love the scent, esp when I am stressed. I take a warm shower and use the scrub the smell is so lovely and calming and then I use the souffle. I smell good and ...
