There were 2 drills Bumping Bertie and Whistling Willie . This is definitely Bumping Bertie. If I had realised how loud it would be I would not have bought it.

Had this for about 3 weeks. Bought because my old oral b toothbrush broke. My fault i dropped it. I had it for many many years and would probably still work if not for my dropping it.This new one, it cleans teeth, but it takes forever to charge. First charge it took a full day. I had to take it off charge use it then put it back. Charge lasted about a week. Im now on a 2nd charge and its still not charged, after about another 24 hours.I don't know if its faulty or just new and needs to get a few charges under its belt.I'll persevere for now, but it is very annoying. I don't know what oral b are thinking.

As with previous electric toothbrushes, it needs an adaptor (designed for use in bathrooms where only two pin plugs are allowed. The light to indicate that it needs recharging is very good, as is the automatic timer for the different zones. It works brilliantly but is let down by how it sits in your hand. My old Oral B Vitality flares out slightly at the top and has light shaping on the back which sits in your hand. This is further enhanced by the use of non-slip finish on the back. This all makes the toothbrush sit with your thumb always on the on / off button. The new shape and glossy finish make the hold harder to maintain and difficult to locate the button.

Yes it's a very good electric tooth brush. I have found it better than some.I also purchased a Philips electric rechargeable razor but with this I have been bombarded by a company called Mettalica regarding this razor purchase. They are a pain promising me acash reward and to subscribe at a cost to them.If Boots should get rid of them promising this and that.

Just bought one of these from Boots and it comes with a European plug, so cannot be used in the UK without buying an additional adapter. Nothing on the packaging to say this. And nothing to adapt the plug in the packaging. I know the UK regulations about normal sockets further than 3m away from water. But seriously not providing the ability to charge it in a normal socket - (I might choose not to charge in the bathroom!!!), is very poor customer focused service and understanding of your market.
