Glutamine is a free amino acid (l-glutamine) and is most abundant in muscle tissue. I use 5-10 grams a day, it depends on your diet and body composition and age. If you are going to take it with water, I recommend hitting it in a mixer, because it can be a powder at the bottom without being completely diluted. I did a protocol that loaded you up over several days, a mega dose for a few days, and then taper back down (google it). I felt sooo much better after! I continue to take 5-10g a day for maintenance. I like to push my limits but had not introduced L Glutamine supplements into my diet yet - did a leg workout and mixed a scoop of this into my protein drink and felt amazing the next day. Take it twice daily habitually now and feel great the day after lifting.Read in some other places that claim this also helps with digestive heath and weight-loss assistance and I can honestly say my body is feeling better with this added into my diet - gut has been feeling better and seeing a steady loss in fat. I do not think this product really has a taste and mixes well into my drinks.FYI Does not come with a scooper but directions say to use a "Heaping Teaspoon" so I used an old scoop from my last pre-workout powder that is roughly a heaping teaspoon.
