While not the strongest folding knife around, the lock design is interesting and the steel used is great.Super lightweight so it's easy to carry. The sheath is also light duty but it's still leather.If this knife had some sort of liner in the handle it would be 100x better.I've always wanted an Opinel and I'm glad I finally got one.This will be used for light duty camping stuff. Cutting food, maybe making tinder or shavings, and cutting sticks. I would not baton with this as it will probably fall apart.

Excellent knife which I ordered immediately on losing my original one of less than 8 moths life. Sharpens well and keep s a good edge.

Fantastic utilitarian blade that will meet most of your needs without any flash or pomp. The sheath is a bit flimsy and doesn't have too much shape--it works but doesn't feel super high quality.
Not quite as good as the older Opinel, a little plainer with more or less "Blonde wood". as the handle. See pics. of my older knife enclosed...
Great knife! Speedy delivery. Only problem was my intention was to by a No 8 Mushroom knife with the brush. That is not what I received, but maybe it was my mistake. I will keep the ones I bought and order again.
