As with all Oofos shoes, these are the most comfortable flip flops I’ve ever worn. The arch is so big that when I walk, I don’t feel impact on my heels at all. All the impact is in the arch. I recently had a hip replacement, but when I had osteoarthritis, these were the only shoes I could wear. I still wear them even after my surgery. However, I prefer the Oolala sandal over the Ooriginal because the Ooriginals are a little too wide and a little loose. The Oolalas are narrower and fit better. But with all the Oofos I’ve ever owned, the tread only lasts about a year before I have to replace them. I wish they lasted longer. Overall, Oofos is my go-to for flip flops hands down.

They were a gift to my friend who suffers from plantar fasciitis, like I do. She said she loves them! She used to swear by Vionics but she says she likes these better.I’ve bought about 3-4 pairs of their shoes/sandals and all of them have hurt my feet. The color was not my first choice but the colors I like seem to sell out quickly and I wanted her to have her gift by a specific date.I myself have already bought 3 pairs of Oofos for myself and I recommend them to my friends.I love them!!The only thing I’d suggest for improvement is the fact that the bed of the sandal (the part the sole of your foot rests on) becomes very slippery when wet. It needs to have some kind of groves or something (I’m no shoe expert) to avoid an accident.I was just in Hawaii and I ... Love these slides! I have lots of shoes, sandals, and other footwear in my closet from years of searching for the perfect supportive, work-from-home item. Nothing matches these. I run almost every morning, and these are like a breath of fresh air after getting ready for the day. I need some arch support, and these have it. I have had soft foam sandals and hard foam sandals with high arches. Nothing matches the perfection the Oofos offer in between. At 6'1 and over 200 pounds, memory foam sinks too much, but stiff slides like Adidas Adilettes are too hard and unforgiving (something I never thought until wearing Oofos). Keep in mind these will soften and form a bit over the first few wears, likely becoming more comfortable as they break in, especially if you think the ... MoreLove these slides! Oofos fits true to size for me. Size 12 in tennis shoes is a 12 in the slides and Oofos shoes that I eventually bought as well. They may look a little big when you try them on, but I think recovery footwear is designed that way intentionally, so your foot can spread out and relax properly. Unlike the Hoka recovery slides, these stay on really well despite that spacing. I have tried several brands of recovery slides and clogs, and Oofos were my favorite. They truly are wonderful.

Living in these cured my 2-year long battle with plantar fasciitis. Nothing was helping me, as the pain went from my ankle through the arch of my foot. I wore NOTHING but these, even through the winter. They are not the most stylish of the Oofos... they are wider and do not have the shiny y-strap, so they are not the most flattering of styles. I did end up purchasing the same set for my athletic teen, another pair in ivory (do not recommend light colors as they show dirt like crazy and look gross!!), and then two pairs of the low shoes. Total purchase over two years: 5 pair. I'm about to get another pair of sandals.Word of warning: these do wear down. If you wear them a lot, they will eventually wear out like a sneaker. They can be washed. Black does not show dirt. ... MoreLiving in these cured my 2-year long battle with plantar fasciitis. They can be washed. Black does not show dirt. Light colors show a ton of dirt just under your toes and it’s embarrassing. I will never purchase a light color again - although when new, they look great. You can toss these in your washing machine, but the lighter colors never really get clean. I have had to bleach them and let the bleach sit on the foot bed for an hour. And they get dirty again quickly. They also run incredibly SMALL! I own two pairs of the low shoe and both are small. It really sucks.Overall, I love this brand. Am I completely happy? No. They need cuter styles, more styles, and need to figure out shoe sizes better. (Stop advertising on TV's big football/basketball games and invest in better product design.) Not super easy to return either. So for that, I would typically dock a star, but these shoes really do help with the plantar fasciitis, and for that reason they get 5 stars.
A clear safety hazard when wet. I love my sandals and have two pairs. One pair only a month old. I have slipped and fallen multiple times in wet conditions, and when I transition from wet to dry surfaces. Always a smooth surface. A local dealer says Oofos are aware of the issue but it doesn’t look like anything has been done. I need to set reminders not to wear these under any circumstances when there is rain. I have been very lucky not to seriously injure myself. Great product but there should be a warning. I wouldn’t be shocked if there was an eventual class action suit as there are clearly many injuries and the shortcomings are understood, but there is no warning.
I'm a fan of the OOriginal Recovery Sandal. They do, however, make your feet sweaty. I can live with that and I continue to purchase them. One pair only lasts about a year before they are squished down and stretched out. Brand new they tend to be a little tight across the instep so blisters can be a temporary problem. The final negative is they are horrible on wet ground. Be prepared to change out of them or slip. Now the positives: Incredibly comfortable for my feet which are flat and wide. They keep my big toe (with bunion) from leaning over and creating an extremely uncomfortable callus between my big toe and my second toe. The sole is thick enough to withstand serious thorns and even small nails. They are study enough to wear while gardening - even while using a ... Realized my old popular brand slides were done and went to replace them, looking for a similar style. just happened to turn around to the other side of the isle and saw these. They looked good but was a little more than what i wanted to spend but decided to try them anyway. Glad i did. Fit true to size (and i have wide feet) so took a leap of faith as i had never heard of this brand before. Been wearing them for the past few hours on different surfaces, wood, tile, carpet and so comfy. My feet feel supported and relaxed. Great for days off after a 14 hour shift at my restaurant. Read other reviews so I feel they will last. Even the salesperson (who I've known for a while and doesn't try to upsell me said that ppl have been coming in asking if they carried Oofos. I ... I purchased my first pair of OOFOS slides recently and I have to say that I am absolutely blown away with the comfort and performance of OOFOS footwear. A 5 STAR review isn't nearly enough. I am a long time sales and marketing professional and as such know what it is to design brands, strategic marketing campaigns ... etc... and even to "put lipstick on a pig" by making gradious claims about a product. I was sure that OOFOS "recovery" marketing approach was just another spin to hook consumers. Boy, was I wrong! I bought these right before a trip to Italy as an extra pair of shoes for around the pool. Long story short, after wearing them the first time and feeling the absoltuely amazing comfort, I wore them literally the entire 10 day trip around Italy. My wife and ... I bought these right before a trip to Italy as an extra pair of shoes for around the pool. Long story short, after wearing them the first time and feeling the absoltuely amazing comfort, I wore them literally the entire 10 day trip around Italy. My wife and averaged walking 10-12 miles a day all over Rome, Sorrento, Amalfi Coast on cobblestone and every other surface you can think of ... all.iny OOFOS slides. If that wasn't enough, I actually wore my OOFOS slides to hike Mount Vesuvious.!!! No joke. I doubt there is anyone who has ever purchased a pair of OOFOS that put them through what I put them through in 10 days. I have never experienced comfort like what my OOFOS delivered. Through all of my experience in Italy, I had no foot fatigue, foot pain, or discomfort at all of that. My feet felt great! I have owned all the major branded walking or running shoes, you name.the brand, and nothing touches the cushioning shock absorbtion that OOFOS delivers. The proprietary material is absolutely unmatched! I hope everyone believes my review. It is not AI generated or a paid review ... it is 100% unsolicited and my honest experience. I am OOFOS biggest fan and ambassador now, telling everyone about OOFOS !!! They are truly amazing and a difference maker! I am now buying multiple pairs so I can wear them all of the time!
Love the cushion and ease to clean. Size is spot on for a men's 10M. I have a women's 12AA very flat foot, so finding a flip flop that doesn't slip side-to-side is near impossible for me. These are not quite as bad as others because they have a bit of a cup to them.Would have given 5 stars except for one thing - the sole on one foot seems slightly thicker than the other. Didn't notice it in the store, but I do notice it wearing them in the house and yard. Hubby doesn't notice it, so it very well could be my foot, but this is the only pair of shoes I've noticed it in. If I had a way of measuring it, I would. Just to ease my mind.Regardless, they are a great shoe. Def worth the money just for the cushioning alone. I bought my first pair of Oofos flip flops in December after a friend recommended them to me. I was having severe pain in my foot. I had an old injury where I had broken and dislocated my ankle and it was hurting bad into my instep. I'd have shooting pains in my foot. I wasn't sure if it was arthritis or plantar fasciitis but I was willing to try anything to help. I bought my first pair and I'm not exaggerating when I tell you these shoes healed me. I'm like TINY TIM. I'm healed! No more pain at all in my feet. I have since then bought about 5 pairs and only wear different shoes if it's snowing or raining. I love my Oofos and will never be without them again. I highly recommend them to my friends and anyone else experiencing foot pain or if you just want comfortable ...
