This product is recommended by Which? so decided on this one. One complaint: Product should be sold with choice of cuff sizes - the standard one that comes with it (medium) won't suit all size upper arms - unfair that customers have to purchase a different size cuff if need be at around £12.

A very good product.. Easy to put band on arm. I noticed the batteries didn't last long, especially if taking 3 readings each time to ensure accuracy (i.e. not relaxed enough or unusually high reading the first time). I have since bought a mains adaptor and was shocked to see the Omron adaptor is about £30, utterly ridiculous price - I bought an Omron compatible adaptor for about £11 but this will save money in the long term.

Very good product that can detect cardiac arhythmia. And it will also know if you are moving your arms, there’s no way to cheat this machine lol. Little bit slower than the hospital ones. But ok for home use.

Very easy to use, sturdy unit. Does exactly what it is supposed to. Can be used by yourself. Does not offer a history beyond the last measurement, but it's easy to snap a picture of the readout with your phone which will give you time and date as well.
Bought this unit to compare the readings with my original M2 Basic which is approximately 5 years old now. After a limited trial period the readings appear to be similar. ie. the calibration of the old unit seems to be OK. In general I'm happy with this monitor which is easy to use and not as expensive as most of the other devices available.
I am a medical practitioner and use this in my office every day for a quick and accurate reading of my patients. I have been using it now for close to 2 years, and find it to be very accurate, and easy to use. It is a very simple and clean design. The only negative thing I can say about it, is that the cuff is too small for some of my overweight patients, and wish it was a little bigger for those circumstances. Otherwise I think it is the best monitor for the price, is accurate, and simple to use.
My Omron M2 arrived just as I was leaving for my GP appointment so I did not have time to open the parcel. However, when I opened it on my return I was very pleased to see it was the exact same make and model as my GP had used! I have to check my BP three times a day at present and the M2 is very easy to use, with a very clear display. I rated this device as Very Good only because Excellent was not offered as an option.
This monitor gives good readings as I have verified them with another monitor. It is a very basic model as the name suggests as it has no memory and no audible heartbeat which is useful if you suffer from an irregular heartbeat. It has a visual method to monitor heartbeats but the audio is much more effective. Next time I would choose a monitor with memory and audio heartbeat.
there is little i can say about the product as it has replaced one that was exactly the same and we have been using for many many years. omron is the brand our doctor advised us to purchase all those years ago and we have been very happy with the brand and saw no reason to change.
My review of Recommendation, Value and Quality is based solely on a short period of use. I understand that the Brand is well known and has a good reputation but I have not as yet had much experience with the product. as far as i know it is working as it should and it is calibrated correctly. Only time will tell the serviceability of the product.
