O'Keeffe's Unscented Lip Repair Lip Balm for Dry, Cracked Lips, Stick

I used to swear by Chapstick. I kept them everywhere. I even liked blistex and carmex, each for their own reasons. My husband brought me this home one day and I had never tried it before. It is very moisturizing. It has a minty feel to it and it penetrates deeper and lasts longer than other lip balms. I find I use less of this product as compared to the others where I was applying them all the time. I use this 2-3 times a day at most. It works very well and it does have a cooling effect on your lips, which I find to be a wonderful feeling. I think I've bought two sticks in the last 6 months. I do sometimes use lipstick or gloss on occasions but for everyday use, it's O'Keeffe's. I ditched the chapstick.

My lips get really dry and cracked in the winter and this product is legitimately the only one on the market that truly medicates, soothes and repairs your lips. The worst my lips have ever been it only took 3 days to completely 180 the state of my lips. It has a slight mint scent and it's very lightly cooling to the lips as well. It is smooth and silky, you can feel it on your lips but after a short time your lips soak up the hydration. I find other lip balms like Blistex, Aquafina, Nivea, lypsyl etc. They all dry my lips out worse. I get temporary relief but they don't repair anything they just sit there. I find this brand to be very healing. I wear the cooling relief and it's just so wonderful. It is very cooling and comforting if you like that cooling effect. I also find that the cooling relief works better than the O'Keeffe's lip repair Original. As long as I wear the O'Keeffe's all day, the next day my lips will no longer be chapped but with other brands they wither take forever to heal or they get worse (meaning even more chapped). I recommend this to everyone but then again everyone is different. I was actually surprised after the first day of the poll. I thought O'Keeffe's would be in the lead but I guess we'll see...😉 Pls don't judge I'm still getting ready this morning and I'm getting ready to do reviews on products I bought yesterday. Then I stumbled across this product; I didn't have any high expections of it but many of my friends and family had O'Keeffes products. Despite the high price, I decided to try it out. A GODSEND FOR DRY LIPS

I never usually write reviews but I had to write one for this lipbalm! I’ve had dry lips for years and nothing has ever helped after trying countless other lip balms until I found this. I use it morning and night and it has genuinely restored my lips and i haven’t had to routinely bite dry skin off from them for weeks now since using this! it’s nothing fancy (doesn’t have scent or anything) but if you suffer with bad dry lips like I used to then 1000000000% get this and you won’t look back!! Going to buy another 3 just so I don’t run out anytime soon!

Best lip balm for chapped lips

All I need to say is that this product works! After just one application I felt the soothing and cooling effects to my severely chapped lips. By the second day, with minimal application, my lips were restored to their original subtle softness and ready for the daily pucker. If you work outdoors, this is a must have, especially during the colder dry and windy months. It is also very good for relieving the dry peeling and cracked lips that are cause by cold sores. This product applies the soothing, cooling and moisturizing your lips desperately need. Take my review serious and just buy the lip balm. Your lips will thank you.

Fantastic for both protection and repair

Living in Colorado, my skin can get very dry very quick but in the summer and the winter. I had chapped bleading lips and NOTHING was helping. Decided to give this a try and haven't looked back. Not only did it help my lips recover during that time, but I keep it in my 'naked' jeep now to protect me from wind burn when driving without the top and the doors and haven't had any chapped lips since then. It also doesn't melt the way other lip products do in the heat when left in the car in funny positions. It does become soft and leave clumps, but at 100 degrees that is to be expected. Even with that, it still goes on smooth in the heat or the cold and the slight mint addition also provides relief without the 'burn'.

Very disappointed. Nice if you like to taste your lip balm, reapply often and want a tingling sensation though.

Very disappointed as I am familiar with their hand and feet creams. Have tried most of the named brands over the years. I usually use cococare coco butter lip balm which have been using for over 20 years which gives long immediate relief to the point I can go days without using it and with no funny after effects but cannot find at the moment due to 'shipping issues' This product as you put it on has a greasy feeling you have to wipe away, I don't like lip balms I can taste. You immediately feel a slight burning/ tingly sensation so would not use on severely chapped lips. It feels as though it is sitting on the lips and not being absorbed and gives a very short term relief before feeling dry again but due to the tingling would not want to be reapplying too often.

WORKED INSTANTLY! Lasts through food & drink!

Worked well and fast! Most lip balms would dry out and my lips would feel dry again. I switched to a new facial cleanser that left my lips dry after. I used Nivea that worked, and was my regular for a long time— but would and dry out eventually. I then used EOS, which applied very oily and my lips still felt dry; reapplication left my lips feeling cake-y. After exfoliating my lips after EOS, I used O’Keefe’s was honestly was INSTANTLY shocked and satisfied. It went in smooth, non-oily, and already felt the dry patches smoothed over. What a change after months of dried lips after using my new face cleanser. Application even lasts through food and drink! Game changer! Worth the price and will buy more to keep in all my bags.

greatest thing since sliced bread

literally magic. my son was in tears. he lips were so dry he was bleeding and split. i bought him 4 different kinds of chapstick and nothing worked. he was getting made fun of at school cause his lips were so bad. 5pm yesterday we bought O'Keeffes and its 6am now. his lips are completely healed! i couldnt believe it. im upset i didnt take pictures. no more tears just smiles this morning. i will never buy another chapstick again. this was magic.
