Excellent product from everything you'd expect from Nutribullet brand. Well designed, sturdy, not too loud. Just the right size for an individual portion. Takes up minimal space on the counter top. Love the lid. I can drink straight out of it or put it in the refrigerator. Note: the NB Pro 1000 does blend ice in the smoothies despite what some reviews have written. Many years ago, I had the NB Rx which is a very powerful motor to "liquefy" just about anything. Well, this 1000 Pro does a perfect job of blending my smoothies that consist of vegetables, frozen fruit, ice cubes and other super foods. Btw, this 1000 Pro also blends smoothies consistent with my Vitamix 6500 (which is too big and bulky for my current use). Wasn't sure whether to purchase this or not as I saw various reviews saying it's loud, it's weak, there are no buttons, etc. Thought I may as well give it a go (tried this one over the 900 because there seemed to be more complaints on that one about the strength of the blender) and thankfully, it doesn't disappoint. It's not loud at all (similar to a hair dryer on low setting) and it's very easy to operate - just lock it into place and it starts. There's nothing really inconvenient about the fact it doesn't have buttons - it's actually easier to use. I have only used it a handful of times so far, so being cautious of how tight I seal the lid (firm but not too tight is enough, there's no leakage). It blends ice fine, there are suction cups on the bottom of the ... MoreWasn't sure whether to purchase this or not as I saw various reviews saying it's loud, it's weak, there are no buttons, etc. Thought I may as well give it a go (tried this one over the 900 because there seemed to be more complaints on that one about the strength of the blender) and thankfully, it doesn't disappoint. It blends ice fine, there are suction cups on the bottom of the blender so it doesn't move, and so far there are no signs of any "smells" (I will only leave it on continuously for about 20 secs and then stop, shake the contents back to the bottom and repeat so that it doesn't overheat). Like the picture, the sizes of the cups are probably similar to a protein shake bottle (the smaller 590ml cup isn't much smaller than the 700ml one). As a single person in a household, it's very convenient to have a blender of this size. Very pleased with this product.

Let’s be clear…It’s not a vita mix, but it does the job while I’m traveling and I imagine would be fantastic for someone who needs to keep one at work.Chia seeds are still a little coarse, but for the price and the size of it, fantastic job. I will probably switch to ground golden flax seeds to add a fiber/omega boost or soak flax/chia seeds before grinding. Does the job with ice, acia frozen pack, frozen chunks of fruit ( banana, avocado, berries, pineapple, mango) mixed with greens, nut butters, etc. Blends protein powders in thoroughly.I have not had to use the plunger (included), but a nice add. I add the proteins and the probiotics after blending everything else, and then blend the powders in gently on low to protect the fragile amino acids and bacteria. It’s much quieter than my Vita mix, also a plus when in a hotel room or I imagine, at work. I tried blending ahead of time and keeping smoothie with freezer pack and insulated bag. Nasty brown smoothie is thing of the past. Much nicer to drink a freshly blended one! Well done Nutribullet! The cups included and the blender jug are a bit more fragile than I would like, but just be careful not to over fill or over tighten the blade attachment and don’t drop the containers on the ceramic tile floor. Probably won’t survive that. Easy clean up by hand. I also think blades stay sharper without dishwasher use.Have had for a little more than a month. Have used at least 3X per week and performs as expected. Highly recommend as a portable smoothie machine. I have even made a frozen skinny marguerita in it. For the price, it’s exactly what I was looking for in a travel size blender. It’s a keeper!

The Nutribullet select is a powerful little machine. I like that it has different speeds instead of just an on and off button. I chose it because I like the handles on the cups that fit it. I was worried about leaking while blending because there were several comments that says it leaks. I don't think it leaks but since you turn the cup upside down and the lid doesn't come up around it, it makes it look as if it is going to run out the bottom. I haven't had any leaking, but I tend to make sure the blade part is screwed on tight. I would suggest buying an extra cup or two because you only have one to use besides the pitcher and it always seems to be dirty.
Ok, Folks! Here it is!! Finally a product that actually DOES what it claims! I've had to return numerous blenders over the past 18 months because each company would advertise (even on the box) that their blender crushes ice. When I tried to do this, found that each blender DID NOT crush ice!! It’s been so frustrating, inconvenient & such a waste of time having to process returns over & over again!! I was also avoiding buying another Nutribullet because my experience previously was a negative one! It used to be very noisy and I LITERALLY had to wear ear plugs when using it. The screw-on action & the threads on the vessel were not designed well which also made it difficult to use and a cumbersome process. But this model is different!! The screw-on action & the threads on the vessel were not designed well which also made it difficult to use and a cumbersome process. But this model is different!! Firstly, it's not super, blow-up-your-eardrums noisy! Secondly, the vessel screws on really easily with no leaks, ever!! Thirdly & most importantly it actually DOES crush ice!! But please add at least 50ml of water to (at most) 11 standard cubes in order to assist with the agitation & mixing action…Or a bit more water if you use more ice cubes. You can then easily make a Protein thick shake / soft serve ice cream consistency dessert!! This is what I predominantly use it for. Re: the "burning" smell that others have posted; unless it is in fact faulty, this is just the new mechanism smell that is emitted from the motor the first few times it's used. After that the smell should dissipate. Also, cleaning is a breeze!! It truly is the easiest machine to clean!! The vessel is also not needlessly massive and heavy. Re: the leaking that others have posted; it’s important you don’t overfill it so please observe the “max” level on the vessel & also when screwing the vessel on the bladed base, make sure you screw it on well and all the way before you turn on the motor. Really hope this info helps those of you who have been frustrated by other blenders (like I have been). After extensive (& very time-consuming) research, I’ve also found that it’s also the best price based on wattage, usage and features. Sorry for the long post! Enjoy!!
I bought this blender on black Friday from Kohl's, 2021. I hand washed and dried the blender pitcher and lid and put it together per the instructions. I made a very simple smoothie that was average. Not really thick, not super thin. Normal smoothie consistency. Thinner than yogurt. Not Greek yogurt, which is thick, but regular yogurt. It worked great! I was really pleased. I cared for the machine as directed. I pulled it out the next day to make another smoothie and it would not turn on. I tried multiple outlets in my house. I tried other objects in the same outlets. They all worked. The blender I just wasted money on, did not. I'm disappointed because I have been using the regular nutribullet with great success for years. I'm disappointed because I have been using the regular nutribullet with great success for years. I wanted a pitcher to be able to puree soups and make larger batches of smoothies in. I should have saved the money I put towards this into savings to buy a couple hundred dollar Vitamix. Maybe this was just a defunct product, but I would not recommend this blender to anyone.
I had an original basic nutribullet for years since they first came on the market which was fantastic never had an issue high quality & made everything brilliantly, it crushed everything and anything really well and was great. When moving I decided to buy myself an upgrade and went for the pro 1000 in the new design hoping it would be more powerful & better however I was severely disappointed. It is terrible! The new blade is bent downwards & isn’t sharp enough. Sadly it doesn’t break up anything frozen at all well, all the ingredients get stuck at the top so you end up shaking it like mad to make it even blend and isn’t nearly powerful enough to mix up a fruit smoothie properly you have to pre cut your fruit really small for it to even work now. I swapped out my old 600w Nutribullet for this one, after many years of faithful service. The motor was getting noisy and inconsistent, but it didn’t owe me anything. I do prefer the threads on the inside of the cup in this 1000w Pro unit, that’s an improvement, and I like the auto cycle setting that runs for a minute and stops on its own. Motor noise is not quiet, but tolerable. I don’t think it will wake the neighbours. The blades are smaller, however, and don’t do as good a job on frozen berries as my old 600w unit. Even after a full minute cycle I’ll find whole small blueberries in my smoothie! It seems the blades will miss them if the berries are small enough. Otherwise, it seems dependable. I also like the blade base interface with the motor housing - very ... MoreI swapped out my old 600w Nutribullet for this one, after many years of faithful service. I also like the blade base interface with the motor housing - very clean, solid and easier to wash, with less potential mess getting in the base if there is any overflow. I found that to be a drawback to the older style Nutribullet interface, which got pretty mucked up on occasion, and downright grimy after years of use.
I used to have the old Ninja, the lower wattage one. I believe 700, but it died on me. I was looking to get the higher wattage Ninja which is comparable to the Nutribullet Pro. I decided on the Nutribullet last minute because of all the great reviews. The Nutribullet does blend the leafy greens better than my old Ninja, but I am constantly getting chunks of fruits and vegetables with the Nutribullet that I did not get with my Ninja. There's nothing worse than drinking a smoothie and getting a big chunk in your mouth. I am going to try and return to Kohls and get the newer Ninja. If I can't return then I will stick it out and for sure go with the Ninja next time.
I’ve owned several nutribullets over the years. I started with the original and upgraded to the “next-gen select”. I have a “blended” opinion regarding this new model. While I love the accessories, new cup design and the ability to select speed/type, I DO NOT LIKE THE BLADES….. I’ve used this daily, for one after workout protein shake (ingredients: ice, almond milk, powder) nothing crazy… I have taken extreme care regarding the durability of the blades bearings being an issue in previous reviews. I have to say, everything you read about the blades bearings is true. They are terrible, I mean the worst…. They burn out, leaving a brown rust looking substance on the underside of the blade attachment, and the way you know it needs to be replaced besides this residue, is ... MoreI’ve owned several nutribullets over the years. They burn out, leaving a brown rust looking substance on the underside of the blade attachment, and the way you know it needs to be replaced besides this residue, is the noise. It gets super load and sounds like it can’t blend anymore. I’ve had to replace twice in 8 months. At $20 per blade it’s still doable but give me a break. For $100 blender plus 3-4 blade attachment replacements in one year (depending on your usage) you might want consider looking for the original version or a totally different manufacturer all together. The 1000w motor sounds good but if the bearings can’t hold up to the power, what good is the better motor. Close to a good blender but could use a better blade attachment.
