Nutribullet Flip Portable Stainless Steel Personal Blender (Indigo)

The Nutribullet Flip retails for around $100. It is a travel blender that seems to specialize in smoothies and mixed frozen drinks. It has a stainless steel insulated cup that will keep your drinks cold all day, and you can drink right from the top with out removing the blades. The can shower and change at the gym then blend up there smoothie and drink it on the way to work or blend it up once at work and enjoy it there. It would also be nice to have at a picnic. You can do a taco theme and make margaritas right from your picnic blanket. The cons are that there is a learning curve to making the perfect smoothie, and the thing is heavy!!!! So if I had the choice I would definitely make my shake at home and put it in my Stanley cup rather than make it on the go.

It seems so perfect for those busy on the go days when I’m running late but still want to make a healthy meal. It’s super easy to just put in all my ingredients in the bottle and then leave it in the fridge to blend the next morning. It also came with a metal straw and cleaner which I didn’t expect so I like that little touch of detail. Definitely makes things simpler to have a matching straw already. There’s no power off button and the only button is to just turn it on and start blending. It feels like it’s 5-7 pounds and that’s a little too much for on the go. I feel like I can’t actually bring it onto public transportation but it would be perfect if I was in the car or something.

I love this nutribullet! It makes things easy! It is very easy to make smoothies, and shakes, or blend whatever you need blended. It is nice that it’s a single serving because things don’t get wasted as easily. It is quick to blend and does a good job blending when there is the appropriate amount of liquid and solids. It is also easy to clean just by blending water and soap in it after using, although sometimes you have to actually wash it, depending on what you’re blending. It is portable and stainless steel so things stay cold! It’s rechargeable which is awesome and you get between 3-5 blends out of one charge. The only down side is that you can’t use too many frozen items because it won’t blend right if it is overloaded.

Ok. The good things: a full charge takes less than 1 hour and it lasts for many blends. It is very easy to clean and very sturdy. Let's not forget it keeps things cool for a long time. However, read the instructions because you can't just toss it in the diswasher nor under the faucet since the charge port is in the cover with the blades. The not so good and this is personal I like my smoothies very frappe like and you can't really use the needed ice in this one. The blades will be almost of no use for any ice or frozen fruit, they are very small, if you are just looking to shakes without these ingredients. Then it is great. I was really excited to receive this Nutribullet Flip since I use my regular Nutribullet at home multiple times a day. I took off 2 stars because this item was clearly already opened and used with the sticker seals already cut and had water spots all over it. That being said, I thoroughly washed this prior to use anyway so it was fine. The blender top is a little difficult to manually wash (I prefer to) but they recommend just turning it on with soap and water in the container which would be easy. The NB Flip comes with a little cover for the blade topper and a travel lid if you don’t want to keep the blade top on (which also has a flip top to drink from). I was having a difficult time trying to turn it on, but it has a pretty awesome security feature where the blender lid has to fully be screwed on (you feel a small click), then the light starts circulating and you can then turn it on and flip it over shake if desired. It also turns off on its own! This will definitely be a great addition to my work commute into Chicago and save me a little time with blending and washing at home.

This is a great little mixer it’s rechargeable and lasts quite awhile. It blends super well I’ve made iced coffee with it every morning since I receive it and it blends ice effortlessly. I blended fruit I froze in the fridge and it also blended very well but took just a bit more effort only because I needed to as a bit more liquid. It comes with a metal straw and straw cleaner. They could have put some silicone in the straw those metal straws are dangerously. Anyway it also came with a part that screws on to store the blade part and keep it covered which is a plus especially if you are gonna put the extra lid that came with it on instead of using the one with the blender blades in it. This cordless portable blender is fun to use. The manufacturer has designed this unit with some thought. Its feels sturdy, very solid, substantial quality but yet sleek feeling as well in your hands. Cleaning is quick and easy. Simply add dish soap and water and blend for one cycle. The nutribullet Flip is a unique combination of a portable blender and an insulated travel tumbler. It is not complex at all to use. It blends stuff within 2 mins which is great and the quality comes out super smooth and delicious. This is perfect for taking on vacation or to the workplace or I take it with me for a walk with my baby. The insulated cup stays pretty cold for a few hours (depending on temperature of water you put in how much ice you used).
