Once they're soggy it feels like eating shredded wet paper, doesn't taste good either. I tried to persevere and get through the bowl but could not. Never again, that was money wasted.Anyone with food texture issues may want to avoid

As a gluten free man of the world, I like to try anything twice. I had two of this bix things in a bowl and enjoyed them more than previously anticipated. I would rather have these than suffer the obvious consequences of a normal weetabix, but I must warn people of their dryness. I have never tasted cardboard flakes before, but if I had have done, I would imagine that I would liken them to these. Luckily I found the resulting hiccups humours. I hope that they are not as dry coming out as they were going in. All in all, acceptable.

Gluten is not my friend and as a result I have not had weetabix in many years though I was never overly keen on weetabix anyway but this cereal is gorgeous. It has a lovely light taste and it makes my breakfast so much more enjoyable as oats just left me hungry an hour after though this cereal keeps me going much longer. It does soak up more liquid, I use 200ml of oat milk to the recommended serving of 3 pieces of Nutri-Brex. I didnt need to add anything to it as I found it quite tasty enough as it was. Please keep stocking this as it is my favourite breakfast now!

I was sent these by Ocado to review and was very pleasantly surprised by them. I dont eat gluten anymore but even in the olden days, was not a big fan of Weetabix and other breakfast cereal biscuits. I expected these to be a bit hard going but they were crispier and lighter than I remember Weetabix to be, and didnt disintegrate into mush as soon as the milk hit them. I have been enjoying - truly enjoying - them with hazelnut milk and a little honey and would highly recommend them for a tasty and nicely filling breakfast.
Was sent this free in exchange for honest review. Full disclosure: I never enjoyed normal Weetabix, so it would be a challenge to impress me with a (predictably) drier version. Having said that, with a splash of oatmilk, I found them palatable enough. Besides, they are gluten free, as am I, so I endorse them on those grounds already. If you like Weetabix and are coeliac or have any other IBS, I reckon you could do worse than have these for brekkie.
When I found I couldn’t eat wheatabix due to Gluten Intolerance. Also an oat allergy. I was so very happy to try these. I like them I have 2 a day with boiling water. So please Asda are selling these . A good price to
As an ex-Weetabix addict, I was excited to try this. I'm usually pretty un-fussy with GF products so I was expecting to enjoy it. Sadly I was wrong. Even drenched in Koko milk, with a sprinkle of sugar, the way I like my other cereal, this had the texture of sodden cardboard. It was highly unpleasant and the whole, expensive pack went in the bin. Such a shame.
I was sent this to review by Ocado. First of all, on opening the box, I wasn't too happy to find that the cereal bars weren't in a sealed bag - they were just in a folded cereal-style bag inside the box. Yes, they're healthy, yes they're high in fibre and yes, low calorie. However, they didn't taste very nice. There's a strong taste of something - presumably sorghum - which I didn't like. I treated them like Weetabix and covered them with milk, which they soaked up almost entirely. After eating them and having a cup of coffee and glass of water as I usually do, I found that my teeth were full of little bits of these bars - much more so than usual. I don't know why - it wasn't very nice. So I wasn't impressed. I wonder if the birds will like them...
Im really enjoying this tasty cereal with good texture. As a massive bonus, it has no additives to the Sorghum, other than B vitamins and golden syrup. Sugar content is 2.5g per 100g, very different from other cereals packed with nutrient-free fillers. Mesa Sunrise has 13g sugar per 100g.
I'm not quite sure how to describe this. If you are expecting something like the named wheat brand , it isn't that. I was a bit disappointed. Although it did soften in the milk, it remained sort of chewy. I left half of it, but considering that it was quite expensive will persevere. I gave it 3 stars because I'm sure the quality is good and it's difficult to get decent gluten free cereal. Others might like it but I won't buy again.
