This magnesium powder tastes vile. I read reviews and they said itās not too bad but excuse my crude language it tastes like asparagus cat-pee mixed with mustard gas. I almost canāt swallow it, my throat just wonāt open. I bought the powder because I couldnāt get magnesium glycinate in capsule form so I bought 3 - 1 for me, my mother and sister too and none of them will use it because itās so gross. I donāt want to waste it though because itās expensive. I think the ingredients are of good quality though because it helps me sleep better, canāt say Iāve noticed any improvements in my joints or muscles though. Itās quite a decent sized bottle though so is good value for money. This brand always has great value for money. his product exceeded my expectations in every way. The quality is top-notch, reflecting careful craftsmanship and attention to detail. The size is just right, providing good value without being too bulky. I was impressed by the packaging, which is both attractive and practical, keeping the product fresh and easy to use. The effect is impressive, delivering noticeable results quickly and reliably. As for the taste, it's perfectly balanced and enjoyable, adding to the overall experience. This product is a great choice for anyone seeking high-quality, effective, and well-packaged items.

Magnesium glycinate is the best to take overall based on my research. Not that it discredits other forms of magnesium. Each type has its own benefit but I find that this is the good type to get in general.Magnesium oil (aka magnesium chloride) is also good but that is mainly for topical use. Sometimes it stings for me as the weather here is dry and thus, I don't use it as often as I used to.I didn't want to be popping pills so I figured the powdered version wld be a better choice. Urgh. The downside is the taste. I don't enjoy taking it but I take it out of necessity. Mix it with yr fav juices/smoothies if you want to mask the unpleasant taste. It can turn yr drinks into a different colour so don't be surprised by it.I got the NOW brand cause it is a trusted ...Ā MoreMagnesium glycinate is the best to take overall based on my research. Now is a trustworthy brand and this supplement works for sleep and migraine and other magnesium related things. Bisglycinate form is great, bioavailable (the only form helping me with migraine) and easy on the gut. Also, it is cheaper as a powder. That being said, the taste is repulsive. I am OK with it, but sensitive people wouldnāt tolerate it. Hard to mask it unless to want to drink smoothies or fruit juices before sleep. Lemon does absolutely nothing, bisglycinate kills it like you didnāt put it in. I recommend this product though and will buy again. Great supplement and important mineral in a good form at good price.
Iāve used magnesium pills for years but my normal capsules were sold out so I bought these instead. I was skeptical at first but I think this will be the only way I consume magnesium going forwardFirstly, the taste isnāt great but itās not nearly as bad as these other reviewers say. I mix it in lukewarm water so it dissolves completely. If I plug my nose while I drink it, itās really not bad. There isnāt any lingering aftertaste and after gulping down some water. No nasty burps or anything.1 level teaspoon came out to 3 grams for me so Iām not sure if their measurements on the bottle are accurate. Regardless, I feel amazing within minutes of taking this. I recommend taking it with food so you donāt have any stomach upset. I havenāt had any issues with this. My anxiety has gone down, my sleep quality has been amazing, and I feel so much more balanced since taking this supplement. I donāt think Iāll ever go back to pills, this seems like the superior way to take magnesium.
Makes me very relaxed and sleepy but tastes very bad. Next time I will buy it in capsule form. It tastes very sweet and like old socks at the same time. Strong aftertaste as well. Makes your toes curl but the effects are undeniable. Will finish the bottle and buy capsules next time. Weirdly the awful taste gets worse if you try to hide it in sweet drinks so best to gulp down quickly just in water. I would only drink it at night as it makes me sleepy. Price is reasonable for taking full dose twice per day but if you just have it at night to aid sleep then its very good value.
Best form, most affordable, simple and high quality. At first i was put off- since this is quite possibly the worst tasting thing i Have ever consumed; but, shortly after i learned to just pour a glass of water, take a deep breath, and chug it down. boom, no taste no nothing- a few second ordeal.one idea i had recently whjch i may try in the future is mixing my dosage in my entire daily water supply (reverse osmosis with a large glass water tank) for convenience, and since it is so diluted i believe it wouldnt affect the taste or perhaps even improve it. this actually may be the most natural way to get your magnesium, since humans in past generations would get it naturally spread out throughout the day from spring water.
Purchased this NOW magnesium (Mg) bisglycinate powder, along with their Potassium Gluconate powder, to reduce mild muscle cramping and muscle weakness. Over the first 3 weeks of use, muscle pulsing & cramping is gone, and muscle endurance and strength have improved noticeably (cycling, hill sprints, weight training). I just mix the Magnesium, Potassium and some quality mineral salt flakes in a little boiling water (to dissolve), then add a cup of filtered water and drink prior to exercising. The Mg powder mixes quite well (but leaves a slightly funky taste when mixed in water)It has improved my deep sleep too I noticed in these first 3 weeks - now waking up feeling noticeably more rested and energisedthe only downside with this Magnesium powder seems to be if ...Ā MorePurchased this NOW magnesium (Mg) bisglycinate powder, along with their Potassium Gluconate powder, to reduce mild muscle cramping and muscle weakness. This is a more general comment for almost all Magnesium supps though, not just this individual product. Too much can cause this effect so start slowly (or add more dietary calcium as this can help, I eat cheese as the Calcium in cheese works to contract muscles (including bowel muscle), which can reduce the laxative effect of too much Magnesium + excessive Vitamin C powder)Overall, this Magnesium powder is worth trying if you are looking to reduce muscle cramping, muscle weakness, or poor sleep
NOW = quality. Helps with relaxation of the body / decent sleep. I insist on the powder instead of pills for maximum absorption. My morning mixture includes Kefir, Collagen powder, Matcha powder, splash of Apple Cider Vinegar and a teaspoon of NOW Magnesium powder. I consider this a tonic - not a drink for my taste buds to enjoy. This is not about satisfying my taste buds. It is all about satisfying the rest of my body. For the 5 seconds it takes to drink this down, any taste - good or bad - is of no consequence. I can sit down and enjoy my coffee afterwards. For those who see things the way I do, mix it up with what ever works for you. For others who find it of utmost importance to give priority to your taste buds instead of the rest of your body, then I guess ...Ā MoreNOW = quality. I decided on making my own electrolyte water and have been doing so for the past few years and have not looked back! This is one of the products I put in it in small amounts. To name a few basics, the others include pink salt (or real salt), baking soda, potassium chloride and taurine. It is very hydrating, smooth and alkaline, and the funny thing is that regular water taste so gross to me now š! The key is getting the combination of the ingredients just right so that it tastes good and works for you. The taste might be off at first, so some trial and error might be necessary, but you can always look online for more exact recipes. I even looked at several electrolyte products for ideas (and maybe secrets lol).
