I think the only two pros I can list is that it was easy to put together (with two people), and that (if you are the type of person to like it) it comes with those path things if you want to feel like you’re actually running a race or marathon or whatever.Cons: I’m only 5’8” and the stride feels too small, it feels more like I’m climbing slightly elongated stairs than running. Most other elliptical machines have decent strides so that it’s actually comfortable to run, but with every stride of this, it feels like someone’s making you stop your stride early. It’s also really heavy (of course) which means you really shouldn’t try to fold it up or unfold it by yourself (unless you know you can handle it of course). It does feel heavy, but somehow it’s not balanced ... MoreI think the only two pros I can list is that it was easy to put together (with two people), and that (if you are the type of person to like it) it comes with those path things if you want to feel like you’re actually running a race or marathon or whatever.Cons: I’m only 5’8” and the stride feels too small, it feels more like I’m climbing slightly elongated stairs than running. It does feel heavy, but somehow it’s not balanced enough, because it is also unstable. It feels wobbly; very wobbly when you increase the incline. The touch screen is also very annoying. You can only go to see your stats when you start your workout (as opposed to getting the screen up before you start), and you have to do it while you are actually exercising because if you stop to do it, it brings up an “end workout” pop up screen, within about five seconds. Comparing it to the ease of use of the ones at the gym, the ones at the gyms are easier to use as they don’t use touch screen displays, so you can actually set up the stats you want to see before you start your exercise with real buttons; and everything is laid out for you right there. The heart rate monitor is also inaccurate if you care about measuring your heart rate.

Please be aware that buying an installation service is not sufficient to get an elliptical in a room of your choice. Because an item is over 200lb you will have to move it to the second floor by yourself. You will not find this rule on the Best Buy website, but from my experience, it is there. On a positive note it is like getting a powerlifting experience for free, so 2 stars.

Just received and assembled my SE9i yesterday.Although it is recommended to have 2 people assemble it, I managed quite well on my own (but I am quite strong, so I was able to lift the ends which really are quite heavy). It comes almost entirely assembled for you, be sure to read the instructions carefully and go step by step.As for the finished product, I am extremely pleased with it. The ride is smooth and comfortable, it's completely silent, the motion is very similar to the gym ellipticals and it has some great additional features like resistance and incline thumb controls on the arms. That said, this is still a home-elliptical and also foldable, so with regards to stability, it does move while you're using it; don't expect a completely still experience like ... MoreJust received and assembled my SE9i yesterday.Although it is recommended to have 2 people assemble it, I managed quite well on my own (but I am quite strong, so I was able to lift the ends which really are quite heavy). This is unfortunate, and the only reason I did not give 5 stars. Although the tablet holder attachment was a great idea, it's not really usable because the screen moves around too much to make watching comfortable on the eyes. I've parked my elliptical in front of my TV, which works great. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

This is a low end model and does mot worth $1400 Cad. The frame is loose and shakes due to very thin design. Fan is very noisy. No iFit with it. Display has no button to power off machine or even standby. Every time hard power off from socket. No heart rate sensor. The only good thing is that it looks cool, with silent wheel (not frame) and a big display although the display has very limited options about equipment control. Display is only for iFit with a small button (manual start)I have used previous model which was heavy and way better than this.
The machine arrived quicklyWas easy to assembleDoesn’t make any loud noisesIs sturdy for the price (sale $1400)For the price I paid I would definitely buy againIfit is great and integrated which makes cardio more interestingIt rarely bobbles only at very high speeds and with low resistance which is understandableI used it every single day since getting it and love it*The only recommendation I would make is to not call it space saver since its actually quite bulky. They want you to pick up one side to save space but in order to do that you need to be able to lift over 100 pds…plus I wouldn’t feel comfortable having it upwards with small children if they push it and it falls on them its super dangerousWorth every penny, very happy overall
Was a great machine, bought on sale. Used it 4 times a week and within a year I lost 50lbs! 4 years later machine still going strong until the back right connection at the fly wheel broke while in use. Just a loud bang sound. Took apart back panel to see if it was a loose screw, but it was metal on metal so no way to fix. Have attempted to contact company many times in the last month through FB, phone and email and never heard back. Now i have a 200lb clothing drying rack sitting in my basement. Very disappointed in Nordictrack customer service.
This is an excellent machine and, coupled with iFit membership, I'm finding it very useful (especially as it's easy on my knees) and it's become part of my daily routine. The screen and graphics are perfect for my needs, although the fan is a little noisy. If I have any complaints it's the fact that so many of the iFit trainers have really irritating American accents, but I can always turn off the volume on the trainer, so it's not an impossible situation. But it could easily become a white elephant if one doesn't have the willpower to stick it - so stick with it and feel your general wellbeing improve.
i got it have it put together and electronic did not workwhen i called the company nordic track this is what they saidIMPORTANT - COVID-19 :Please note that iFIT Santé & Fitness is offering members support from remote locations. Due to an increasing enthusiasm for home exercising, we are receiving a higher volume than normal of both calls, and emails. We are also experiencing some delays in deliveries for both parts, and finished goods, that are out of our control. We apologize for any inconvenience and we thank you for your patience and comprehension as we continue to provide the best service possible, and improve on the situation.so at the price we pay we should have service right away what is the point to have an eleptical that is effect
Pros: looks cool.Cons: Squeals due to poor design. The fold up feature sounds great but it creates a weak point and the machine will make a loud squealing noise which is unavoidable due to the weakness in stability because it is designed to fold up.Also, the machine is highly unreliable and he warranty is extremely short on purpose. They know it is junk which is why you only get 90 days. IT USED TO COME WITH 5 YEARS!Do not buy this machine even if they lower it to $500. It is a terrible design and NordicTrack does not support any issues after you buy it. Be Forewarned.
The elliptical works okay but the foot pedals make noise every time you move your foot. I had a repair person come but he said the new models have foot rests that are made loose that way and they are not repairable. Not ideal for anyone who likes a quiet workout, as the clunking of every rotation is quite distracting, even with headphones, and can be heard in other parts of the house. Seems like a design flaw.
