Our last name is Rose, so we figured this pan was literally made for us. We were right. We made a rose-shaped cake for a big gettogether with friends, and they all immediately got the "joke." Rose cakes will obviously become a regular thing and will loom large in our legend.

Just look at the photo. It turned out pretty. I used a spray, Bakers Joy. I was hoping it wouldnt stick and it didn’t.Be sure to get the spray in the small crevices. I took a pastry brush and blended the spray into every little place. I had so many compliments. I recommend

I bought this bundt pan on clearance and I was skeptical about the cake's easy release from the rather intricate pattern. The pan has a nice solid weight, which led to very even baking and the coating proved to be a very smooth nonstick. Used it tonight to bake a beautiful and delicious pound cake and clean up was unbelievably easy. I highly reccomend this pan!
I noticed chips inside the pan, I'm not sure if that is due to shipping or if this pan was damaged prior to shipping. I'm so disappointed to have to return it. I'm afraid if I keep it that my cake will be ruined, or the chips may get in my cake. I gave a 5 because it's not a regular occurrence with Nordic.
I ordered this pan to provide an elegant look to my baked goods. My husband and I have been cooking and baking for our 95 year old neighbor for about 10 years. We recently added another 84 year old dear friend. I wanted something to make them feel special and this pan really added that look of elegance to our normal fare. It made both them and us feel very special. The weight was unexpected as it is heavier than a normal Bundt pan, but the cooking was very even. I used a glaze on the cake that nestled into all the crevasses and dripped down the ridges. Very appealing! Quite the unexpected appearance and created quite an interest.
Makes a lovely rose shaped bundt cake. As someone else suggested, make sure to spray all crevices before pouring batter in. Use avocado, coconut, or olive spray oils. For this cake I made a lemon bundt from scratch. Came out very pretty.
I thoroughly washed dried and really sprayed this pan, but the cake stuck on one side. Even after it baked and I let it cool, the pan was still hot after 25 minutes. AND I think it's difficult to clean. I suppose I could have soaked it, but the crevices required additional attention after a regular wash.The pan is hard to handle when it's hot because, it has no handles. Makes it difficult to get it our of the oven. Next time I'll try a spray containing flour to see if that keeps it from sticking. Not as good as my old bundt pan with handles.
This is my first Nordic pan, and it won't be the last. I caught it on sale, and I have not yet baked my first cake in it, but I will do that soon. I think it will make a most interesting and lovely cake. Other reviews comment on the non-stick finish, and I based my choice on the fact that it will come out of the pan beautifully. The pan is quite heavy compared to other cake pans and molds. I'm excited to give it a try! I have my eye set on another Nordic pan as well, waiting for the next sale!
My cake turned out very pretty. My in-laws thought I bought it at the store. I sprinkled powdered sugar on top and it looked so professional. The pan itself is heavy duty so that is a plus and for a great price. I recommend it if you love to bake or for special occasions as well.
