This particular product must be refrigerated and I'm wondering if the product was not kept cool before shipping as it arrived rancid. The capsules smelled extremely fishy (which they usually do not) and were cloudy and dark yellow. I threw them out. Rancid fish oil is harmful to health and in particular can cause heart problems. Needless to say, the money I thought I was saving by purchasing online was money lost.I've since decided to avoid buying EFAs that have the greatest risk of rancidity.

Nordic Naturals are the highest quality omega-3’s. I recently learned from experts that the highest quality omega-3‘s come from sardines and anchovies. That’s exactly from which Nordic Naturals are made.Today’s review concerns the status of the gelcaps when delivered. Today in Las Vegas, it’s September 24, 2024 and our temperature is still 98° in the afternoon. The order arrived at 3:30 PM, 98°, after being in the delivery truck since early this morning. I ordered two of these bottles of 120 gelcaps each, and I’m happy to say neither bottle had an issue. All 240 gelcaps were loose with not one stuck to another. I would guess that the company must have solved this problem, and the bad reviews of the past are not being repeated. Hooray!! 👍

The colour is very light and smells of lemon and rosemary when it is popped into the mouth. This is also the softest fish oil gel, not hard capsules. It is more expensive but excellent quality product and ingredients which are third party tested which is a process that removes toxins from contaminated waters the fish swims in.

I was listening to a running-centric podcast and they interviewed a coach who recommended this brand/product.Although some supplements are difficult to quantify their effects (i.e., possible placebo effect), with this product I noticed a positive difference after about 2 weeks in my heart rate at a given pace. I'm in the midst of summer and I normally don't see this kind of low heart rate for the given pace until winter when it's much colder.I've done the research and apparently products with a good amount of Omega 3 can have a positive impact on VO2 max. And clearly this is a good product for me to see sustainable benefits as I've seen a running performance increase now for the past three months.As a side note, while I did see benefits with the recommended ... Many omega 3 fish oil prods supply only a small amt of EPA & DHA which research shows are important for brain health & support a healthy immune system. I don't want to waste my money on a product that provides negligible omega 3 fatty acids & then fills in their product with other oils or you a product where you need to take multiple pills or gummies to get a decent intake. 1,000 mg of omega 3's distributed betw EPA & DHA is desirable & this product achieves that goal better than any other product I've seen. It costs more b/c it contains more & meets quality purification standards.
