Noosa Basics Vanilla Organic Lip Balm 15 G

Love Noosa Basics products and this is a handy size but the taste was not what I expectedCocoa butter usually gives a mild, almost chocolate or vanilla taste to a balm, which I like.This balm doesn't have much scent at all, but the taste is stronger, almost like burnt nuts.Not the sweet barely there taste I expected in a vanilla balm.I have a good sense of smell, so others might not notice it. Otherwise the texture is good, easy to apply

Awful

I was so disappointed with this purchase. It turned out to be a small amount of a dry waxy substance that sat on my lips and did nothing to add moisture or prevent moisture loss. It was supposedly vanilla, but had no scent that I could detect.

Not impressed...

I really wanted to love this lip balm, especially as I live in Noosa. It's a larger size than other lip balms, which appealed to my love of 'more product, less waste of packaging.' And it's not in a plastic tube, which I thought was great.I ordered the Cherry and the Mint. The mint has a kind of choco-mint flavour, which isn't bad, but the cherry didn't really taste like anything. The most disappointing thing, though, was that my lips felt drier with the balm on, than they did without it. Not exactly the effect I was hoping for. I'll use them up, but I certainly won't buy them again.

Not my fave

Not my usual lip balm (fave is Hurraw), but wanted to try something new & I like some other Noosa Basics products so thought I’d try it out. I wanted to love it but it’s just ‘ok’ in my opinion. Doesn’t smell like Vanilla - more like burnt sugar. Texture is moisturising but gritty, not smooth.I like how much you get in a tube & the packaging, but Hurraw is still hands down my fave - no comparison.

Really nice lip balm

Nice smooth lip balm without being waxy. A little hard to push up in winter but that's to be expected. I also have the mint and i am happy with them both. Fragrance is probably a little stronger on the vanilla and I will probably stick to the mint for future

Too difficult to use

However the tube lid is very loose and the tube is very wide, twice the width of a normal lip balm which makes it awkward to use. Maybe it's meant to be rounded, but mine curves into the centre and into a hole that travels down the tube.
