I received this product from Influenster. At first I was hesitant to try because I have very sensitive skin and also sensitive to scent. This lotion is lightly scented, it’s nothing strong. It’s very moisturizing. I’ve been using every night and I do not feel the need to reapply in the morning.I’ll definitely purchase some in the future.

Best lotion for my very dry skin. Leaves a nice 'sheen' on skin too. Absorbs quite well. Doesn't mark/stain clothing. Has 'powdery' style fragrance that dissipates quite quickly (to my nose). I apply after shower on wet skin and am quite lavish. Some might find it too "thick" but that's how I like my lotion eg I don't like the Cerave lotion or cream because too 'light'. I have blended both because C has such a good rep for being 'best' for skin but prefer Nivea straight.

This product is wonderful, besides being rich and creamy, it gives you a lovely fragrance while nourishing your skin. As having German/Italian heritage, Nivea products from Germany were a staple, I grew up using them and will always feel close to my Mom anytime I open a jar or slather on the rich and lite creams and lotions. The best products, and I am grateful Smallflower brings them to us.

I received this product complementary from Influenster for my honest review. This product was pretty average. It is thick and moisturizing, however I wish it applied smoother like a butter. The packaging is simple and nice with a good pump.
I am really super picky about the lotions I use. I hate anything that leaves a residue or is oily. This nourishing milk is fantastic. It leaves my body feeling hydrated and smooth without and sticky feeling. This cream has a soft pleasant smell reminiscent of a sublet baby powder scent which dissipates rather quickly when absorbed into the skin. This is a thicker cream so it takes a bit longer to absorb than traditional hand creams. I highly recommend especially for the summer!
I have always loved Nivia products, but this one I'm taking a pass on. The consistency is so very thin that it even makes it difficult to dispense from the bottle. When I open the bottle it flies out and then I have to be very careful tipping the bottle because then it really flows everywhere! Weird. I did expect a lotion consistency, not one that's water thin. I'm going to mix it with a thicker Nivea lotion or cream just to use up the bottles. It's disappointing because the product is moisturizing and feels good on my skin.
Love, love, love this lotion. When I lived in Chicago, I found it at Merz, and was thrilled to find it online through Smallflower. I’ve used it since a teenager living in Germany, as a young adult when I moved back, and a local purchase is always among my first stops when I visit Germany. The version available here is, as noted in many reviews, not the same—petrolatum makes it greasy and sticky, and never lasts as promised (e.g., “48 hours” comes off in 2).
I received this product complimentary from Influenster & I am really impressed! It is a bit creamier than most lotions but it really helps hydrate my dry hands. I work in healthcare and with all the hand sanitizer we have to use, this product really helps to lock in the moisture. I will definitely be using this from my dry skin areas especially in the cold winter.
I've been buying this for years now and it's always been my go-to because your skin truly felt hydrated. Over the past couple of months, I've been using this new bottle and it feels like the formula has changed! It no longer lasts as long as it used to. I can now play tic tac toe on my skin after a day of wear! I might have to try and find something else now. Really disappointing.
excellent! i never knew there was a German formulation or that it was the original Nivea but i'm so happy i was able to try it and came across it on Smallflower! absolutely love it and there definitely is a difference - far less greasy but still has that lovely signature Nivea scent! i'm hooked on the real thing and will only purchase from this website from now on.
