Nivea Men, Moisturiser, Face / Body / Hand Cream

I really enjoy using this product at night as a last step in my skincare routine. For a thick and deep moisturizer, this is the one. I really dislke the slime feeling that alot of other moisturizers give off when slugging. This product seals in and locks products in for the night. I use about a quarter size amount of product and spread a thick layer evenly all over my face and neck. By morning it is soaked in without any product transfer to my pillows - yes im a side and stomach sleeper XP. This product is great for the whole body. I especially love to use it on my ears and gauges to ensure they stay moisturized!

Unpopular opinion on a platform like this, but for the price, Nivea really does give La Mer a run for its money. I was gifted a small jar of La Mer from a friend and having used both, I can understand why people say there are similarities. You have to warm it up the same way in your hands, the application, even the smell is similar. I’m not a cosmetic chemist so I can’t speak to formulations, but like a lot of people have noted, the ingredients are very similar with the exception of algae extract. Obviously if you love La Mer and can afford, then keep using it, but if you’re looking for an alternative, this is a decent option for an occlusive. I do enjoy Nivea a lot, but I can’t use it as much all the time because I’m autoimmune and sometimes during flares, I can be a little sensitive to the fragrance. So sometimes where I’ll need to be diligent about washing it off is around my fingers and nail beds. Just noting that in case anyone else has AI flares sometime. If you’re not sensitive to fragrance, and have really dry skin and/or live in a dry climate, use this over your moisturizer as an occlusive to seal it in. Also looks great as a primer under makeup. For the price, you get a lot of bang for your buck with Nivea.

Nivea creme in the blue jar is the best invention! My Oma in Germany, used this creme ever since I can remember. The scent is amazing and brings a lot of memories back. The creme is soothing and pampering and dry skin drinks it up. It leaves your skin soft and supple and very comfortable. Your rough spots, like your elbows and heels will especially love it! Even though the formula is a creme, it does not leave a sticky or tacky feeling on your skin. Immediately, your skin is comforted and looks radiant. You can feel it penetrate your skin and doesn't just sit on top, like other creams can do. Nivea creme is perfect for your whole body and your whole family. The scent is not overpowering nor to feminine or masculine. Nivea is the best creme for the entire family and ... MoreNivea creme in the blue jar is the best invention! Thick and rich, it really helps to seal in the moisture and prevent transepidermal water loss. - A bit hard to spread. I suggest warming it up with your palms or fingers and then spreading it on your skin. - There's fragrance in it, so if you're sensitive to smells or have extremely sensitive skin you may want to skip it. I do not find the scent overpowering though. Someone else in the comments described it as cool barber shop scent and that's how it would describe too, maybe slightly floral. - A little goes a long way. I bought the 400 ml this time because I'm using it on my entire body but I've tried the smaller tins before to use only on my face and they still lasted several months. - Can feel a bit greasy if you don't spread it well enough, especially on your ... MoreThick and rich, it really helps to seal in the moisture and prevent transepidermal water loss. - A bit hard to spread. Learn from my mistake. The dupe for La Mer is made in Germany. I bought the regular degular version from Target. I am not impressed. The crème is heavily scented and very thick. I learned that you’re supposed to rub the product between your palms before applying to the face and this does make a world of difference. However, this crème is not that hydrating considering how thick and creamy it is. I used this as my night lotion for 2+ months and it did nothing for my skin. I gave out multiple sample to try to make a dent in the huge tub and I’ve still got 2/3 left. I fear I will have to leave this tub to someone in my will because I refuse to waste it but it doesn’t work that well. I definitely bought into the hype that this was a holy grail product for older folks. ... MoreLearn from my mistake. The dupe for La Mer is made in Germany. It’s just a basic moisturizer that gets the job done. It’s not too greasy and it’s not too matte, it’s in between more toward the greasier side, that’s why I use it at night only. I really like it because it doesn’t just sit on top of my skin. It has absorbent ingredients which I look for all the time. Some don’t like this because it has alcohol but that just helps the product not be so greasy and absorb well. It’s actually moisturizing and does not break me out. I have tried other night creams and with many I break out if it’s too heavy. I would get small bumps but from this I never do. It’s perfectly moisturizing and not heavy. This does have a fragrance which for some people with allergies or sensitive skin that’s not good but for me it is never an issue. I don’t use much in my skincare routine and I keep it simple so that’s why my skin isn’t sensitive. If you are using actives, then fragrance-free could be a better choice, depends on your needs. I probably could find something better, but I keep going back to this because it’s so easy to find and it gets the job done. It’s also cheap. I have tried many expensive products and this is better. This does not irritate my skin or do anything special, but it moisturizes.

The scent of the product is classic! It's the faint floral smell and reminds me of my childhood. It has a smooth, thick texture. I like to warm it up in my hands before applying for an easier application. I love to put it on before bed and wake up with super hydrated skin! Takes a while to absorb so may look a little greasy if you put too much. A little goes a long way! Overall has improved my skin by giving it a more glowy look and makes my skin feel plump the next morning! Not something I use everyday on my face, but use it everyday on hands, elbows, and knees.

Nivea Creme is a classic moisturizer that’s been around for decades, and it’s easy to see why it remains a staple in many skincare routines. The thick, rich formula is perfect for dry and sensitive skin, offering intense hydration and leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth. It works wonders on rough areas like elbows, knees, and feet, and can even be used as a night cream for the face. One of its standout features is its versatility—it’s suitable for all skin types and can be used by people of all ages. It’s also fragrance-free, which makes it ideal for those who prefer products without added scents. The only downside might be the thickness of the cream, as it can feel heavy or greasy if too much is applied, especially for people with oily or combination skin. ... MoreNivea Creme is a classic moisturizer that’s been around for decades, and it’s easy to see why it remains a staple in many skincare routines. It’s especially great for the colder months or anyone needing a boost of hydration.

I have very oily skin and finding a moisturizer that doesn't break me out has been a dream. I bought nivea creme specifically for my under eyes and cheeks and started rubbing a little on my fine lines expecting a break out but that didn't happen. Instead I 've been waking up to plump skin and my under eyes and fines look a lot better. It's definitely worth a shot but I highly recommend a patch test first. My skin absorbs it pretty well! I mean without coating a layer of somewhat greasiness. It's fresh, moisturizing, clean. It's fragrance free. One of the best moisturizers.
