Firstly i'd like to thank Look Fantastic for offering me a refund on buying this item and their understanding and customer service. I brought this and another Nioxin product which were both expensive. I've been dealing with hair loss for 3 years due to Auto-immune issues. I brought this night serum and applied only a tiny dot to my head and within seconds my vison blurred and I had an excruciating severe migraine. I was shocked how a small tiny dot can cause this severe reaction. I had swelling to my whole face, throat and breathing difficulty and ended up in hospital needing steroids. I read some Amazon reviews from customers who had the same reaction as me. These ingredients are very strong and cost me my life.

This review is in exchange for a sample of the product. This is the first time I have been using anti hair fall or hair growth serums of this kind. I have thin, medium length hair. I don't use more than a few drops at a time, started slow to check if there are any adverse reactions. So far none. I haven't been consistent in applying, but try whenever I can. It does smell really nice, unlike some of these type products, almost a fresh scent. Overall a pretty expensive product. Not sure what these ingredients are or how they would impact me in the long term, hence not sure I would repurchase, especially given the price. I prefer more natural treatments if available.

The company's website says it needs 60 days for full effect, and I only have enough product to test for 30 days, so I know I won't see full effects even with daily use. I like to go about 3 days between shampoos, and because it doesn't add oil, I can maintain my shampooing schedule while using the ... Like high-end salon, super-fancy hair care fabulous. The serum is fairly light and doesn’t leave an oily residue on my hands when massaging into my scalp. I was concerned that my hair would appear oily in the morning, but instead my scalp just felt really hydrated. Because my hair is thinning, I am really hopeful for some thickening over time, but would use it for that scent alone! The packaging is nice. It’s subtle but looks fancy at the same time. The price point is about 50 dollars for a small bottle which will be fine if it does help with my thinning hair. One thing to note as received this in exchange ... I applied 2 droppers on my scalp at night time, and I love the feel of the serum. It really has a nice light smell. I've been using it for 2 weeks, and I can really feel my hair getting fuller. I definitely needed to try this cause my hair is kinda getting thin. I'll come back after a month and a half and report more. As of now, I really like this Nioxin hair serum. It says it's dermatology tested. That's about the only things I like to try if their dermatology tested. The bottle is 70ml 2.3floz if I use 2 droppers a night it should last almost 2 months . Initially I really enjoyed the cool feeling of Nioxin Night Density Rescue Serum - Overnight Hair Thickening Serum on my scalp. It's got a nice thin texture and the dropper is a nice effective way of distributing the product in the scalp. It's got a light scent, not strong or overpowering in any way, which is nice. I'm sure this would've worked wonders for helping to thicken my hair if it hadn't made my scalp so greasy or subsequently, itchy. So I unfortunately had to stop using this after 2 weeks. It could be the summer heat causing the itching on my scalp in combination with the product. I'll give it another try when the weather cools, because I was really wanting this to work. I'm not giving up, cooler weather means different hair care routine for me.

I don’t see it listed, but online it states there is minoxidil in it, so it begs the question as to whether it’s the oxydine, the minoxidil or a synergy between the two that cause rapid hair growth. Either way, I’m extremely pleased with this product and I will continue to use it. It seems to be available at Ulta.m and target.
This product literature requires 2 months of use to see a difference in hair density, so I will comment on my experience thus far. So far, so good. I have a sensitive scalp, and this product did not cause an allergic reaction- so that’s great. It dries very quickly (I’m assuming due to the alcohol content) and is the only scalp product I’ve used that isn’t greasy or oily. This is also great. It gives a strong sensation when first applied- not painful at all, but very zingy and cooling. It took a minute for it to go away, and it made me laugh at the irony of putting it on before bed, since it was so energizing. I feel good about the ingredients and I look forward to increased density around my edges.
