Hydration Vaccine NIOD

I'm onto my nth bottle of this serum, and still loves it. When I first tried this serum years ago, I was so surprised to see visible improvement after a couple weeks of nightly application. I mean, I have been using eye creams and serums since I was 15 years old. I have used products from Body Shop (their eye gel was pretty good), cosmeceutical products like the eye creams from Skin Medica, Skinceutical, and Obagi, and high-end products like the eye cream from La Mer and Valmont. But none gave me visible results in a couple weeks' time! Well, Obagi's ELASTIderm eye cream was pretty good, but very pricey compared to NIOD's. Now, the price has increased 2-fold, I still think this is a bargain, given that a bottle lasts 6 months! You only need one drop for both eyes! Oh yes, the results... I saw tightening of the skin on my eye area, and the fine lines under my eyes became less noticeable. Of course, continual improvement is impossible, but at least it helps to prevent further damage. That's enough to make me a loyal fan! Just ordered another bottle. ;-)

This little joy in a bottle is the Fractionated Eye-Contour Concentrate (FECC) from @niod part of the @deciem family, along with @theordinary I won this last year as part of a collection, and recently was able to fit it into my routine in a meaningful way! It can be a bit of a pain to apply, the whole dropper, and only needing a tiny bit, around the eyes requires caution, but it is amazing stuff! Amazing, I mean for the price of $70 for 1/2 and ounce it better be 🤣 My friends, this is LOADED with good stuff, it’s designed to target crows feet, puffiness, and dark circles, combing “28 clinical technologies” ~~~ I highly suggest heading to their website and reading about some of these, it is fascinating stuff This combines multiple peptides, Hyaluronic acids, collagen, yeast ferment, vitamins, marine algae complex’s, niacinamide, and extracts in such an interesting way. I feel like this is one I’m going to want to replace, so I’m hoping it lasts a long time 😂😂😂 if you’re eye area is something you want to target, this baby is a phenomenal tool to do that. Highly recommend at the very least checking it out and learning about all the tech they are incorporating

I've been using The Ordinary products for about a decade now and really like them, but other than Sanskipt Saponins and Hydration Vaccine, I've avoided Niod products because of the price. I've never tried Deciem eye serums and decided to get this one during the November sale because I was feeling my usual eye cream wasn't doing the job anymore. I also bought CAIS3, MMHC2, and Hydration Vaccine and after using the set all together, in less than 2 months, I noticed considerable improvement in the appearance of my skin. I have pretty decent skin overall for my age (I'm 55) and have always looked younger than my age, but as I've aged, naturally, so has my skin. My daughter has noticed a difference and in the course of two weeks, I had 3 people tell me how young I look, one of them carded me for a bar area and another guy took a double take after looking at my license and said, "I wasn't expecting that!". I'll continue using all of these products religiously, so happy I decided to try them all, and happy to find a new eye serum that actually works!

I don’t get it.

I just don’t understand what this product is supposed to do and the best way to use it. On one hand, it sounds like it’s supposed to be a type of sealant, a breathable occlusive layer that prevents water loss and keeps environmental factors out. On the other hand, you are supposed to use it between your serums and cream (ie: moisturizer) which makes zero sense if it’s a sealant. But! This product has such rave reviews (although the “can help skin look 20 years younger” is a WILD claim) I thought I would try it since my cheeks get so dry in the winter. Nothing works. The HV seems to actually pull out moisture from my skin and make it even more dry. I started seeing little pin lines in my cheeks when I smiled on the days I use this. It’s like it is blocking my moisturizer from being absorbed. My skin also looks incredibly dull if I use it directly after serums. I had some issues with pilling but that stopped after I reduced the amount of HV I was using. The only thing I DO really like about this product is the finish. I’m not typically a fan of the “silicone slip” feeling and HV is very, very silicone-y. But if I use this after a heavier cream, and just a very tiny amount, it seems to dull down any shine and give my skin a beautiful healthy glow without drying my anything out. You know.. Just like any other silicone primer… it’s more light weight than any of the other silicone primers I have used but I don’t think it’s worth the money for a fancy primer that doesn’t actually help my skin in any way.

I was skeptical but it actually works!

I am young but already have crepey, dry eyelids. I bought this during their November sale, but didn’t have too much hope given the state of my skin. I started using it morning and evening in my routine. Immediately I noticed my eyelids didn’t feel dry anymore, and over time I did notice great improvement in the texture of both upper and lower eyelids. I saw the biggest difference, though, when I ran out after six months. Within a couple weeks of not using it my upper eyelids started to sag and feel dry again. I was hoping I could get by without it until the November sale again, but just reordered because for once, a product really lives up to the hype. Highly recommend!

Incredible

I do not write reviews, but after looking in the mirror right now, I felt compelled. I was just about thinking about getting some sort of fillers or laser tightening facial to get rid of the deep laugh lines that were forming on my face, and I had a very solid skin care routine, my skin otherwise looked great, so I thought that was just the way it was. I went out of the country and forgot my moisturizer and popped into an Ordinary store and grabbed this, and holy mother of goddess, two weeks later- WHAT LINES!?! This has turned back the hands of time. Pigmentation problems!

I used to love this product in the first few weeks. It really was nothing short of miraculous. My main concern was my crow's feet and it not only helped with these it also made my under-eye area look fantastic. After a few months of use (including during summer) I noticed slight dark discolorations in exactly the area where I applied this product. I never had this happen before and they've not gone away even after I discontinued this product. I've also seen other people in the reviews mention this and I did not use any other products. Very sad! This would be well worth every cent if not for whatever is causing this.

The Best

This product is extremely extremely hydrating. I see a visible difference on fine lines and dare I say..... Dark circles. Also, iy seems to somehow help with my hooded eyelid., I mean the hooded lid is still there it's not gonna disappear it's genetical, but this serum somehow lifts the lid and gives it a better shape if that makes sense.My only issue is that i have extremely sensitive eyes, specially my right eye, everything runs into my eyes.To Deciem: would you please consider making a cream or gel version of this eye serum with same potency. I use your CAIL sometimes around my eyes and it didn't bother me. It would be great for all those that has sensitive eyes like mine.

This is NIOD's most underrated product

This product makes it possible for me to wear mineral sunscreen for the first time in my life. My skin is very prone to dehydration. Mineral sunscreens literally suck all moisture out of it. Believe me, I have tried just about every formulation. Even the most emollient physical sunscreens will parch my skin. To make matters worse, I can't tolerate chemical sunscreens because they cause irritation, and the smell gives me a headache. Enter Hydration Vaccine! I layer this over my serums in the morning, then apply a tinted mineral sunscreen over the top. This product seals in moisture and provides a protective layer that prevents the sunscreen from stripping hydration from my skin. Unpleasant Results

I’ve only used this for 2 weeks and for now I stopped because my under eye area has gotten so dry and new thin wrinkles have formed. The area there had only a few fine wrinkles and a little bit of eye bags which I was hoping this product could easily deal with. But instead more for created.I stopped usage for 3 days now and my skin is reverting back to normal there. I wrote to Customer Happiness more than 10 days ago asking for advice about how to use it, but no answer since then. I suppose they are very busy, still I would’ve appreciate a brief informatory answer.I want to try again with FECC, just once more.
