I was planning on getting a Wilson Evolution to replace my 12ish year old Evolution. Then someone at pickup got this ball, and we only play with Nike Hyperelite. The grip is AMAZING. Evolution isn't bad, but it isn't any comparison. We noticed that 3 point percentages went way up. With the Evolution there is some slippage when shooting and it hard to get as good of a grip as you want. Not the case with the Hyperelite. It is a little more expensive than the Evolution, but for how frequently I get a basketball, it is worth it. I just hope it will hold up well for the next 5-10 years.

I ordered online during Black Friday sale. Funny the basketball shipped by itself without any outside packaging and just store up. label taped to it.The much cheaper street ball (half the price) I also ordered had packaging typically seen in stores.

Bought this ball for my 10 yr old son. He only uses the ball for indoors practice and play. He has used it for three weeks and the ball is awesome the bounce and grip of the ball is superb. I have had many brands and would put this towards the top. Nike did a great job with the hyper elite ball!!
If you want to be different from most basketball players which they have the Wilson Evolution. This would be the next best option if you like to grip the basketball. This basketball has more grip than the Wilson. Also need break time for this product. Other than that it's great !
Good alternative to the Wilson Evo, which is also a good ball but not one I love. Out of the box very good grip, soft but slightly harder than the Evo. Different feel (a little gripier) compared to the Evo as its made from different material (mainly rubber). Some have complained that this ball wears fast, cannot comment on that since I just got it, but so far very satisfied with it.
It feels somewhere between the old Spalding TF-1000 and the new soft Wilson balls. This one is soft but not too soft.
This ball is just as good or better than the Spaulding TF-1000 and Wilson Evolution.
Very nice ball. It’s like dribbling a pillow at times. Definitely a ball I will keep for indoor use
