For the styling, I give the shoes a 5 star rating, same for comfort and fit. For durability and quality of materials, it has to be a 1. When I saw the bottom of the shoe, I questioned how long they would last. I bought multiple pairs and colors, but the Black/Bright Crimson/Blue/White colorway was my go-to. It’s approx. two years later and they’ve all but fallen apart. The right air cushion has deflated and the sole is almost completely worn. I’m not hard on my shoes and I don’t wear them everyday Mostly on weekends. Gone are the days of Nike shoes being made with quality, but pricing just seems to increase. I won’t be buying anymore of these.

I bought the all black pair. Nice looking shoe on and off my foot. Problem is too narrow at the toe. I spend a lot of money on Nikes! Some are keepers others I give away, some I return. Holler at ya girl to check out a shoe for you and give you the truth. I work 16 hrs 7 days a week most months. I’m a workaholic. While at my job I stand long periods, run intermittently and walk constantly up and down stairs and long halls on cement and concrete. Give me an holler to help with assessing a shoes quality, stability, and look. Cause I’m also a fashionista.

I really wanted to love this shoe. It was comfortable and i could wear it for extendable periods of time. However, it has one very fatal flaw: Within 10 days of use, I noticed scruff marks on the inner facing air bubble. They look really bad on an otherwise perfect pair of black sneakers. I purchased black soleley for the reason that dirt wouldnt show and this was a complete bummer. I returned the shoe. I would recommend that Nike redesign the plastic of the air bubble to make it less prone to scruff marks. A quick google on air max 270s shows that this is a pretty common issue and folks have resorted to all kinds of mitigations to fix it. I wouldn't expect something like this for a brand new shoe.

This is by far one of my favorite Nike pair of shoes. I got the one that has the green heel with everything black. I wish this had the option of customize it, since all of the others designs are not appealing. They feel incredibly bad, it is unfortunate since the based is so great but the color pallet of the options are atrocious or simply boring and there’s no in between. Sad to the one I got is not longer available, I’d like to re order the same pair to subscribe the ones I have that are getting in bad condition.
I just got a pair of these 3 weeks ago and are still in the process of fit testing them in all types of workouts except for when I'm doing squats or other various types of leg weight training. Putting them on 1st time was different, took time to get used to. Size is true to my 8, I feel like the shoe was custom made for my foot as it wraps around the right areas w grip and there is perfect amount of room in toebox. They are the lightest shoes, only several ounces each, but with that comes great fragility, so I feel that I can only wear them for the workout at hand and that's it. I want them to last as long as possible so they enter the rotation with many others for more testing and comparing within the brand as well as outside it too.
Likes: Looks & Comfortable. I bought 4 colorways. Really like walking in them.Dislikes:Lining inside above is so thin, now there are holes on the crease, on all 4 pairs; kinda embarrassing. The heel is not thick enough therefore they don't last very long.On one pair, the heel on the right shoe now has a hole and is now flat, can't wear this pair anymore. On a second pair, same issue, will have a hole on the heel very soon and will be flat and unwearable. One a third pair, I stepped on a tack in the park/grass, now flat and unwearable and I only wore it a few times. So on my 4th pair I mostly wear it indoors only.I didn't get my money's worth so I will not buy again and don't recommend to others. I expected better from Nike. Disappointed.
Ordered *early* as a Christmas gift for my son. I’m glad I checked the shoes before wrapping them! The box came damaged (no biggie) but upon further inspection, noticed one of the shoes looked aged. Maybe a display pair? No inside tissue wrapping like new Nike shoes normally arrive. These look to be clearly damaged and the fact that Nordstrom pegged them on an online order is frustrating. I’m now forced to hunt them down a week before Christmas. Please get better quality control on online orders!
I love the 270 design. It's definitely a design that I hope nike keeps around for many, many more years to come. I definitely recommend ordering a size up. I wear a 13, and since nike doesn't make half sizes after a 13 in this 👞 I had to order a 14, which is slightly too big for me, but it works. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase. I hope this helps someone who wears the same size in ordering their correct size the first time.
The 270’s are great . They fit well and like the size guides say order a half size up or 1 size up . To me it fits snug for a reason so you can feel the soft walking and running comfortable and the look and colors . The only downside ? Maybe lower the price so I can get all the colors please lol . If I could I would buy every color for every day of the week . But bills first and collect as I go. It is great for work or just taking a stroll at a mall.
I’ve been wearing Nike sneakers for the past 25 years and never had a problem until this one. And I’m a 50 year old guy, I wear these shoes, maybe twice a week to do moderate workouts. After about four months, the air pillow on the left shell suddenly collapsed. I couldn’t walk in the shoe or use it anymore because it was uncomfortable. I wrote to Nike let them know that the shoe seemed to be defective and they told me that it was from normal wear and tear. The quality of the product seems to have diminished. My new favorite brand is Hoka.
