I love this shoe and it’s probably my 6th pair or 574s. I love the cushion and comfort. I love the classic look. If you have a slightly wider foot, this shoe does have a wider toe box that the unisex (gender inclusive as they call it now to appease a certain crowd) shoe does not have. That model is more narrow and not a good fit for most men. I have an average width foot but I enjoy the wiggle room. The color gray is spectacular and matches just about any outfit. The only improvement they could make on this model is a little more arch support. I find this shoe has adequate support but would like just a little more arch support and a little more heel cushion. These do have a removable insole, so adding your own for more cushion and arch support is an option. Love em!

I bought this for my husband. He has a hard time looking for comfortable sneakers. This is it, he only wishes that it has more cushion or a thicker sole. He prefers them wide because he wears thick socks. I'd like to buy him other colors, but they're sold out. So I'll keep checking.

I'll try to write this in great detail to help future buyers. Today I'm wearing my favorite new balances, 574 core black colorway. Size 12's I'm an 11 1/2 true to size. The ones im wearing today fit perfect, comfortable toe box, doesn't get sweaty, very comfortable throughout the day.The ml574 or this model, they were very narrow, crammed toe box, my feet got hot and sweaty from whatever cushioning they're using inside.I was extremely dissapointed. I read everywhere online that there is no difference between the core 574 and the ml574. Ordered the same size. 1 thing I noticed, I ordered the blue core 574 colorway , still a little narrow but not as bad, wearable and no sweat hot feet experience. My advice , try these on before hand. Dont blind buy. Or I guess ... MoreI'll try to write this in great detail to help future buyers. Today I'm wearing my favorite new balances, 574 core black colorway. This shoe is extremely comfortable and stylish, especially in the macadamia nut/black combo. However after wearing these shoes for a day, what I assume is orange glue, started to seep out of the seams. Thought it was a one off, so exchanged for another pair, however my 2nd pair had the same issue after a few hours of wear. Unfortunately have to return these.
What caught my eye the most was it's neutral colors. You can wear these shoes with just about anything. I had never bought New Balance shoes before this purchase. I will say that they may feel a bit snug at first. However, after the first week, they've molded to my feet.
If I were to own only one shoe, this will be it. An all rounder shoe. As log as I live, I will always have a pair of these.... these are baaaaad.had this shoe in college , graduated in 2007, and man it took a massive beating. I really hope these stay evergreen.Just opt for a non suede.... suede goes bad real quick.Usually a 10 and the 10.5 fits like a glove
Sure this shoe is great- but when I searched in women’s shoes and these came up I assumed that these were just that, women’s shoes. Although the search showed no indication these were men’s shoes the option to review now says (Men’s). Hoping they’ve corrected this error, but wish it would’ve been fixed earlier.
I wear a size 13, normal width. I don't typically jump around sizes brand-to-brand. I ordered 4 pairs of shoes from various brands, and both of the non-NB brands were too narrow. The ML574s fit my foot comfortably, no tightness or discomfort or rubbing on any art of my foot. The support is good, though better in the heel and arch than the toes. The construction is mediocre, not cheapo but not a forever shoe. The style is tasteful and trendy, a great substitute for the 550s if you're not trying to drop mad $$$$s on shoes. If you want to spend more money you could probably get a higher quality product, but in this price range it ticks all the boxes.
I bought these in an attempt to make my husband more fashionable and it works! As recommended, I ordered half a size up and it was a perfect fit. The shoe is a little stubby and chunky when you look directly at them, but the photograph really nicely and really tie an outfit together. Also they are super cushy and comfortable immediately. I tried them on for fun and I wish they still had the smaller men sizes so I could by them for myself haha.
I bought these a few weeks ago but am just wearing them. They arrived in a plain brown shoe box instead of a branded new balance shoe box. Now that I am wearing them, I am worried they aren’t legit/real. The shoe laces seem different from other pairs I own and they are wearing out in the sole very quickly.
