I bought it for my wife two years ago and it’s working fine . I have different model which is also dual camera model . We never had any problems. I have installed both by myself and it was easy . Good quality picture. Lane departure notification, speed camera notification. Speed on the screen. What else do you need . 10 out of 10

The camera and suction cup holder are very bulky, the cable that enables both front and rear camera to record is very bulky and hard to hide it in the trim of the car.Major drawback is the rear camera fails to connect properly and after reading reviews it's clear I'm not the only one with this issue!All other features I enjoy, but I specifically purchased this because it had a rear camera and appeared to be good value for money. Boy was I wrong! I will be returning this for a full refund and steering clear of this brand all together!

The car that nearly hit me was 1m from my bonnet, so very close - the number plate is directly in front of the camera yet it was unreadable. This was exactly the moment the device was purchased for and it failed. In clear day light with the sun behind the camera - the images were useless.

Had this camera in my car for over a year now, Great little camera. Had an Accident recently and very glad i had the camera fitted as it showed i was clearly in the right. Easy to setup and use. Only issue i have had is the plastic clamp on the screen holder has broken just recently but can be easily fixed.
Poor quality usb connections the cable is bulky, thick and stiff making a small compact unit that you see on display a bulky clumsy mess after you install it. Once you have hidden all of the cable you find the rear camera disconnects for no apparent reason.Picture quality is good size of rear camera is good it's just a shame the cable is of poor quality.I did find that visiting the store answered a lot of questions when choosing between dash cams only wish the cable was a better.
Purchased Mivue 800 and it worked fine for about a week. The rear camera would only connect on the odd occasion. I had it replaced and the new one again work for a while and the same thing. I will return for a full refund and purchase anything other than Navman.Further to this, after talking with others and reading reviews for the same Mivue 800 I've come to the conclusion that this unit has an inherent problem that needs to be resolved before being placed on the market. In other words a total recall.
I bought this a month ago, installed it myself (when I unpacked it it seemed a little intimidating at first, but what helped me was watching a "how to" youtube video).I feel more confident that if im involved in an accident that I will have the needed evidence for proving my side of the story or even help others if my cam captures someone else getting in an accident.Just last week, due to my rear camera capturing a guy "forgetting" to pay for the sub and amp I sold him before leaving with the goods, I was able to use that footage to persuade him to come back with the money!Now all I need is a wiring kit to allow it to record in parking mode!! Navman have 'smart kits' that monitor the voltage to make sure it doesnt flatten your car battery!I highly recommend ... Bought this product because it's a trusty brand. However after installation the rear camera constantly disconnects, uninstall it and it works fine again, showing that the wires aren't insulated properly and when tight it is cutting the circuit. It also requires you to buy an additional accessory to have it record the rear camera in park mode unlike every other brand.
Have been using MiVue800 for a year now, no issues. When installing I've made sure the wiring is solid and not moving. Also, have installed the cam high at the windscreen to make it barely visible from outside, so it does not have to be taken out when parking the car. Would be good to see the cam have better vision on a grey day or at night.

A 3 minute front clip is around 400MB and the rear is 275MB.
