The 4 stars is for the capsules. They just can’t hold enough product from this truly natural source.The 5 stars is for the powder. Easy to scoop a 500 mg or 1 gram serving. Would be nice if they included a scoop but if it would raise the cost, then I would rather use my own. Given prices today, this is an affordable, no, a good price.Aside from that, this product is superb! I managed health food stores back in the 60’s — 70s when Vitamin C was transitioned from the naturally extracted (this) to ascorbic acid and it was a sad day.

This C has been great for me. I have hideous GERD. When I take other Vitamin Cs, my stomach burns horribly. I’ve tried many different brands. This is the only one that doesn’t cause me pain. It gives me a little energy. I know my body absorbs it well. Citrus fruit causes me all kinds of issues. Since I never eat it, I get painful cracks in the corners of my mouth. Alive C clears all that up quickly. I wish it were less expensive and I feel it’s worth it.

It feels good when you can give your body the best quality from nature. It vitamin C, it has so many benefits. I take it to support my immune, also for my skin, heart, and as antioxidant to fight oxidation. The 500 mg daily dosage in 4 capsules are convenient to me, and do not irritate my stomach at all.

I tested Alive! Fruit Source Vitamin C capsules with my NIMA Gluten Sensor and the results came out as "Containing Gluten." I was taking Alive! Fruit Source Vitamin C capsules every day because they are marked as Gluten Free. I won't be buying them again.
it was a balmy 74 degrees in Southern California when I ordered this. I expected it to come from the Inland Empire warehouse in California. For some silly reason they shipped this from Ohio, where it was 98°F and it took 3 days to arrive and roasted in 98° F weather. Goodness knows how hot it was in the back of a UPS truck & warehouses those 3 days, possibly reached 120°F in there. heat-sensitive supplements such as these are not to be sent in such heat and I am always responsible buyer and never buy anything when our weather here is in the upper nineties. However since iherb has opened a warehouse in Ohio I can no longer control this so my shopping here has decreased by 80% in the past two years.
