We purchased this fridge/freezer in March 2022 and we only got just over 6 months out of it. Excellent fridge/freezer. Have it in my Kluger for everyday use. Super quiet.I'm a support worker so need to be able to cart my lunch around with me. It's super handy and can switch from fridge to freezer at the click of a button. Also helps as we live out of town and the grocery run is now a breeze with this beauty - no more melted ice cream!

Having recently relocated from Alaska to Darwin I was looking for a new travel fridge for my dog Eskimo. No he is not a drinker but if he was the 56 can capacity would suit him very well indeed. No he was feeling the heat…this great fridge with one of the best in market compressors, loads of room and reversible lid was just perfect for keeping him cool on our travels. He loves sitting in it and I sometimes wish I had bought two one for my beers!! Anyway it ran perfectly cold, didn’t even drain my battery over 4 days in the outback and put up with the abuse very well indeed. Solidly made, quiet, and a comfortable fit into the back seat of my Prado I recommend this fridge for your keeping those artic dogs cool.

Quiet fridge. Size and weight is ok to carry. Keep it away from the sun as it can get very hot. Power consumption is average, 2 day use and still have 60% battery left on my 100ah. Buy youself a temp monitor because this fridge sensor is for the coils not for internal temp of your fridge. If temp display is -5 the internal temp is zero. The bottom of this fridge is the coldest. Power cable did not fit into the car socket, i bought another power socket and this works ok.
I bought this fridge to replace my previous name-brand disappointment, and the myCoolman is wonderful. I haven't taken it bush yet, but we used it on a 42 degree Christmas Day and it was wonderful. It is easy to use and the thermostat stayed at 2 degrees all day and kept everything cool (unlike my unreliable first fridge). The cover for this is cunningly made, of excellent quality and is a thing of beauty. Having the power outlets on the same side as the information display is excellent too. I am very glad I purchased this fridge and look forward to off-grid trips with it.
I have the 96ltr dual zone and is working wonders in our camper trailer. Buying this CEP 47ltr was another great investment. From turning on it took 13min to drop 28deg to 01deg. Handles are very sturdy and sit out the same distance as the CFX range. The basket is easy to remove and lid super easy to change direction if need. On turbo it uses 4.1amps on start up and normal uses 3.6amps, over 24 hour period it uses approx 23 amps (more then f you open more regularly and less (say 18-20amps per 24hr cycle) if open very little. Over all it is very well made fridge and uses their OWN compressor meaning not relying on other brand compressor like secop which are a great competitor but I’d rather stick with sake compressor made as my 96ltr version mycoolman.
It very noissy fan. Bought the fridge before christmas for drink fridge in the house before we going holiday.The fridge fan so noissy like had outbord motor in the lounge.Can’t handle high temp at the off ute with cover/canopy always showing error E4
If you buy this fridge on sale it’s alright value.At a desired temp of 4 degrees and indoor conditions, it holds temp for about 12-14 minutes then runs for about 4-6 minutes. So about 15 minutes an hour it runs. It does what it says it will and keeps stuff cold.The build quality isn’t great but for the most part does the job. I’ve had the fridge in the back of my 4wd on 2 trips which included 4wd tracks and it wasn’t impacted negatively.However, the latch on the lid is terrible. It’s not smooth to use and you’re squeezing it with a decent amount of force to open it. This results in the springs inside squashing with use and not having enough rebound force to latch the lid closed. The latch has 3 screws to remove from the lid, then you push out the long pin that holds the latch together. You can now access the springs. I slightly stretched the springs back to a normal length giving them their rebound force. Seated them properly in their mounting spot and reassembled the latch.The lid now works as it should, however, the design is clunky and over time the springs will squash and shorten again.If you use your gear all the time I’d suggest buying something better quality, but if you only do short trips a couple times a year then it may suit your needs.

"All models come with inbuilt bottle openers at either end." - Not true. "All myCOOLMAN models come with 3 years warranty and an extra 2 years warranty on the compressor". Not True. MyCoolman CEP47 is one extremely well built portable fridge/freezer. It’s a great size for a weekend of camping and has several options to charge including 12/24/240V power. It can also operate, with the right connectors, off the grid via solar panels. I love the fact the lid opens both ways and it was able to fit 60+ cans when we hosted an outdoor party. Cools down very quickly and the good quality seals leaked no cold air. It is fairly compact and fits in most car boots. Included basket is handy for keeping items secure and organised. Highly recommend for folks that are after their first portable fridge/freezer that is built to last.
