MuscleTech Phase 8 Hour Protein 2.09kg / Milk Chocolate

I got this protein powder one week ago and I can already see a remarkable difference in the way this protein reacts in my body compared to any protein I've ever tried. I quit using protein a while back because my stomach was sensitive to digesting it, however, this slow acting protein is like nothing I've ever tried.Even with the full two scoops, my stomach digests it with absolutely no problem. I can attribute this to the "8 hour" delivery.The mixability is phenomenal, whether 1 or 2 full scoops, there was no clumping or leftover powder in my shaker bottle after drinking it. I mixed with water, but I am sure the mixability would be just as good, maybe even better with milk. Unlike the typical chalky consistency of most poweders, the PHASE8 protein was extremely fine but still possessed the best flavor I've had in a powder. The closest comparable flavor is that of chocolate Silk Milk. It blends a hint of sweetness with the perfect amount of milk chocolate, not too strong and not too faint.If you are looking to break out of a protein powder funk and can't seem to find one that you like, I highly recommend this. With its mixability, flavor, and 8-hour slow delivery, PHASE8 distinguishes itself from the competition.

Some of my favorite things about phase 8 is the 26 grams of protein it has, as well as the 8 hour time release of amino acids. The cool thing about the 8 hour time release is the fact you stay replenished of amino acids. Outstanding product for anytime use! Great for a pre-workout, as I notice a slight increase in my reps. One of my biggest concerns is how the powder mixes with almond milk or water. I was truly impressed when I put 1 scoop of protein phase 8 with 8 oz of almond milk in a shaker and shook it a few times to mix it. Not a single clump in the entire cup. The flavor was mind blowing! Putting the right amount of milk chocolate and not over sweetening it. When I'm looking for a protein powder to use I generally look at the amount of protein it has, how does the flavor taste, does it mix well in a shaker, as well as can I add creatine, bananas, peanut butter etc. If you're looking for an all around protein powder I highly recommend phase 8 protein to everyone whether you've been in the gym your whole life or just getting into the grove.

I've had several vanilla-flavored proteins and while most of them have been good, this one is by far my favorite. It's great with milk and also blended with fruits, like bananas. The powder is extremely fine, more than any other protein I've tried, to the point that it blows out a bit like dust when I open the package. I think a bottle would have been better for such a fine powder than a bag. But it's no big deal, just gotta handle carefully. The ultra-fine consistency probably helps with mixing, though I always use a blender so I don't know how well it would mix without one.
