Much Moore Awesome Salted Caramel Ice Cream Tub 2L

Salted Caramel Ice Cream!! I haven't tried this before, maybe because of the wide range of ice cream on the shelf and known brands are mostly on special. Thanks bunch!I'm not a fan of salted caramel but this one is an exception. The creaminess balanced out the salted caramel flavour. Can eat it by itself or add some fruits or a milkshake. The container is also a bit big and inefficient use of the freezer. Maybe more marketing promotion so customer will try and justify the price as it's more expensive than other brands. And because of inflation, treats is usually on our last priority. But overall, it's great. We all love it. We will try other flavours, when it's on special.

Awesome Icecream. In a quest to find a new ice-cream I thought Id try this new range. I'm not usually a salted caramel fan but I had a minor sway me in the store so this one fell in our trolley. Opening the ice-cream was easy - I'm use to that annoying pull off tab thing that tears off skin but enables access to the ice-cream. That tab should come with a warning!This ice-cream was very soft and easy to spoon out. I kind of wondered if it was melted but I think its just a smooth soft ice-cream. Scattered throughout this ice-cream are visible pieces of salted caramel. There's definitely an ideal amount to penetrate and scream salted caramel flavour. I have to say that this ice-cream is absolutely fantastic. Its soft, its creamy, its divine! I'm VERY happy to try ... MoreAwesome Icecream. Delicious Icecream! Great quality icecream, it was very delicious and tasty. I liked the icecream container as it was quite eye catching with the bright golden colours that matched the caramel flavoured icecream very well. The icecream was nice and creamy in texture with a good amount of caramel pieces which was evenly distributed, giving the nice caramel flavour. At $11. 00 for a 2L tub, it's probably more on the expensive side compared to other brands. Thanks bunch for letting me try this sample. I may purchase this icecream again when it's on specials.

Sweet not as creamy. This was a sample. I do like the caramel flavouring and can't say I picked up on any salt flavour. The goo and chunks of caramel seem to not be distributed well throughout the icecream with many on the top layer. I did find it a bit too sweet and the ice cream itself less creamy to what I am used to eating (that is when I do indulge in ice cream). The container opened fine but it takes up too much room in my freezer. A smaller size would be good. It is a high-priced ice cream at $11, but I can see many people buying it on special. I wouldn't personally buy this ice cream again as it is in a very large container and would probably harden or ice before we could finish it and the fact it is that bit too sweet and not enough creaminess for my palate.

Love this. Labeled itself as premium ice cream made in New Zealand. Beautiful packaging comes with a gold colour container. It is easy to identify. Shelf price is $11 for 2L. Price is very similar to Australian brand. There are two tabs you can tear off from edges but doesn’t work well. Lid was little bit difficult to open. Ice cream had yellowish colour and had some caramel pieces and swirl visible. As it labeled, I can taste the saltiness and sweet caramel flavour. The caramel pieces were sweet and crunchy. It gives ice cream a nice texture. It was creamy and just sweet enough for me. Happy to repurchase this if it’s on sale.

This was half price at $5. 50 which is pretty close to what our regular is when it comes on special. Well WOW! This was definitely worth the purchase. It is a lovely flavour, beautiful and creamy. Great caramel flavour and the little pieces where a great little bonus. This tastes like really good quality ice cream like you would buy at a gourmet ice cream shop. Only issue is I think I might get complaints now when I go back to purchasing the regular vanilla one.... so hope they put this one on special regularly enough so I can get some of the other flavours to try soon. Totally much more awesome! OK, so I've been seduced by this premium ice-cream. It has the most appealing blend of flavours, so creamy combined with the crunchy texture of the tiny salted caramel beads. Up until now, I've never understood the concept of adding salt to caramel which I thought should be sweet, but in this product at least, it's a winner, (the ice-cream is very sweet anyway!). Made in New Zealand, aptly the land of milk and honey, renowned for their premium ice-cream. It's a sturdy and very generous sized 2kg tub which I will repurpose now that the contents have all been eagerly demolished. PARTY IN MY MOUTH TASTE SENSATION. I for many years have avoided the SALTED CARAMEL trend believing these new cooking shows are going overboard. I mean WHO /WHY would you add salt to a sweet treat? Mind blown after the first taste which was only a tit bit on end of teaspoon so I could review give my honest opinion. Half hour later quarter of the tub was gone ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS I’m hooked. After that first taste I immediately headed straight for my room hidden down by side of bed so son would not catch me and devoured this new treat honestly hooked. After realising what I was doing and how bad it actually would looked I quickly replaced the lid and placed into freezer. It was tough to do but I could have emptied the tub lol. Creamy and gorgeous sexy texture in my mouth and the SALT actually made it. 100% addicted. The only down size is the price very expensive $11 but in my opinion so so worth it lol. Will be buying again for myself this cannot be shared, my new treat for when I want to spoil myself. Also love the tub as I repurpose what I can and made for great container in my craft room. Perfect Ice Cream. This is absolutely wonderful, IF you love salted caramel. The creaminess has the right balance, the flavour is wonderful and smooth. I originally bought this on special and at $11 a tub for 2 litres it is something I would only buy on special and only then this particular flavour. I enjoyed this so much I expected all the Much Moore ice creams to be wonderful, the boysenberry wasn't - nothing really wrong with it, but I ended up letting husband have it all. The salted caramel was a different matter and I was happy to be slightly selfish which I'm not often with food. I don't buy a lot of ice cream and this has to be a preferred flavour but I like everything salted caramel. I scream for this ice cream. What a treat! This ice cream is certainly high quality and scores highly on my criteria for a good ice cream... Flavour: A distinct salted caramel taste with just the right amount of sweetness. Texture: A requirement of any quality ice cream is a smooth and creamy texture. This ice cream scored high marks in this area. To add variety to the texture, the salted caramel pieces were a good size and had just the right amount of "crunch". Appearance: A good colour. The salted caramel pieces were easily identified. Overall, the ice cream looked very appetising. (Photo below)Price: At $11 a tub, I initially thought that was expensive. But it must be remembered that it is a 2 litre tub. For a premium ice cream, it is actually a fair price.
