I paid $449 for this and honestly I regret it. Has very little OC headroom and has fixed power limits. However, it doesn't spin its fans until it reaches about 60°C so it does stay quite quiet. At full blast, with about 100% usage, expect the card to reach. When stressing it for about 10 minutes the card peaks at around 75°C and definitely isn't the quietest with a noticable higher pitched whine from the dual-fan configuration, so if you're planning on stressing it with the latest AAA games at 100% usage you might notice it spinning up (I notice it, but I also run a more open-air setup). Bought this card for a high fps 1080p gaming build. I have used it for about 3 weeks now. Performs very well in all the games I have played so far. In Doom Eternal on mostly max settings with ray tracing on at 1080p, it keeps a steady 144 fps no problem. If you don't care about ray tracing, I might suggest you look at AMD equivalent cards as they will give you a bit more fps at 1080p like the RX 6750 XT, but will be lacking when it comes to ray tracing. I'm sure this card will perform well at 1440p but you might have to turn some settings down to achieve consistent high frames on modern titles. Overall I am very happy with this card and in my opinion it is perfect for a mid-tier build!

Was looking for a 3090 or 80 but you already know the stupidity out here for high end GPUs and overpriced parts. This fell in my lap and even though it was a hundred or so more that the MSRP, it was still a fair deal compared to all the scalper pricing out here in the wild.No complaints for what it does run, efficiently & quietly(1080p & 1440p-with good FPS), and in some cases 4k w/Ray tracing on ultra settings(YMMV).If you do find one, you'll be ok generally with the purchase I believe... At least until your desired card finally comes back down to reality price-wise, at least. :-)
Good card overall, could have a better back plate design that would allow for more airflow. But built quality is good, performance is great and it is quiet. I have had no issues with it besides the gpu getting a little hot, not overheating let me be clear, and my case has a part to play in that. I get consistent 100+ fps in most games (1440p, high or ultra settings).
Yeah, the price is still high with the chip shortage, but I can't recommend this card enough if you're getting into gaming. I playon a 1440p ultrawide monitor, and it can play eSports games (like CSGO, Rocket League, Valorant) at incredible framerates without taking too much VRAM. Newer games on medium settings looks so good too. This model, in particular, isn't the flashiest card out there, but the noise levels are minimal and the performance is just superb. Definitely a card for all newcomers into PC building once the price drops to a reasonable rate!

Fine. If you are desperate and you won the shuffle, get it. It is still a 3060ti that can run most games on high/ultra settings. However, the price/performance ratio is horrible on this card. It is supposed to be a budget card, but MSI inflated the price and now it is a lot more expensive than some counterparts from other AIBs, while performing worse! The most annoying part of this card is that, since the card heats up quickly, you will have to crank up the fan. However, if you push the fan speed to 75% or higher, it will produce some sort of grinding noise, which really, REALLY annoys me. Therefore, I can only lower it to 65-70% most of the time to avoid it, which makes the card heats up to 80c, and sometime even higher. Overall, MSI failed this one. I'd suggest ... MoreFine. I got this when it first came out for about 470$, the price went way up unfortunately. It runs quiet and stays cool. Surfing internet and you tube 35C, playing COD and other games for hours straight it stays right at 65C. Still quiet after hours of gaming. Have the fractal meshfyC case with 3 corsair sp fans in front 2 on top for aio and one for rear exhaust. So nothing special about my airflow and it still never reaches 70C, so I'm not sure why I have seen a lot of bad reviews for this card about noise and temps. Its been really good for me so far(2 months now).
This card looks pretty cool and will go with most builds nicely. The 3060ti only has a small performance decrease from the 3070, only about 4-5%. The 3060ti is overall the better buy because of the massive price difference. Really couldn't have asked for anything else. I finally have my build together and don't plan on upgrading anytime soon.
