Needed a real GPU when the pricing was not realistic and was lucky to get this card for about 100-150 over MSRP. That was about 4 months ago. Almost right after, GPU prices crashed and now I can get a 3060 for about the same price. Don't regret the purchase as this card does the job, but it stings a bit nonetheless.

I spent a lot of time looking for a $250 MSRP 3050 and when I realized that at that price with shipping and tax it would be close to $300. So when I seen this one at $339+ Tax and free shipping plus a little lighting (RGB) I took it. Shipped to my house in 2 days. It runs as any 3050 you would expect to run. Installed it in the case, booted up with generic driver, downloaded the latest NVIDIA driver and done. Stunning video output that hade a huge increase in detail to my games. I would recommend this GPU to anyone that is looking for a 1080p entry level card and is tired of searching.

Glad I bought this card. Originally I went with the Rax 6500xt then returned for the RX 6600, but both were experiencing major stuttering issues in Fortnite on low settings. It made for a horrible experience. Spent the extra $100 and now Fortnite, among other games are running amazingly. Ownt purchase AMD going further

Great card for the price runs very cool under full load it tends to stay under 50 degrees Celsius for almost every game. When idle it hovers around 24 to 28 degrees Celsius. Maybe not the best if your looking for max refresh for every game but with little tweaks you can easily achieve 90 to 100+ FPS for a lot of games. You can use ray tracing which looks great but it will diminish your frame rate by 30+ FPS for most games. If your looking for a good 1080p card this is the new entry level gaming card fot it.
This is a great entry level card for 1080p or 1440p gaming with the newest RTX line of cards. I'm happy with the price and performance of it. Also the card itself looks very nice and sleek, with a subtle touch of lighting. However my only complaint would be it runs a little hot. The fans can be a little loud when maxed out, but can be adjusted manually too. Besides that I would recommend to anyone looking to get into RTX without spending too much.
I had to get a replacement card asap. So when i went to Best Buy and saw they had to this card in stock, i didn’t hesitate. I use my PC strictly for video editing and this RTX 3050 allows me to render video pretty fast. Would recommend for anyone doing basic editing. If you do a lot of VFX OR 3D work i would say get a more expensive card.
great for 1080/1440p gaming. I OC'd mine with afterburner, so your results may vary. these are the games I played on 1440p resolution on ultra settings with this card. these are the fps they stay at during gameplay. card temp doesn't get too hot either. Assassins Creed Valhalla - 45 - 55 fps God Of War - 55 - 60 fps CyberPunk 2077 - 70 - 80 fps NBA 2k22 - 60 fps Call Of Duty Warzone - 110 - 125 fps Grand Theft Auto 5 - 65 - 73 fps I am sure I can get higher fps with a 1080p resolution.
The GeForce RTX 3050 is a solid graphics card for the price. It arrived within just a few shorts days of being ordered from B&H and was super easy to install. The noise suppression built into the card is awesome for those who want to stream and record at high performance without having to hear a large amount of fan noise as the fans on the card only kick on when needed. When complimented with Corsair's iCUE software, the iCUE software is amazing for tracking the cards stats such as the tempature of the card and set alerts to notify you if anything goes wrong. For the price, you can't beat the performance!
I purchased this for two reasons. Firstly it refreshed an older PC running an integrated Intel video card that was robbing the system of memory. Solved the problem. Secondly I wanted to run Stable Diffusion locally. I was already running it on a gaming laptop but the fresh install on an older desktop increased the speed of the server immensely. I can now generate more images at a larger resolution (about 1mp) without slowing down. Also the local upscaler is lightning quick compared to my gaming system running a 1050. I wish I had gone with the 3060 now but that is water under the bridge. I have not tried gaming and probably won't but for my budget and needs this fit the bill perfectly.
Excellent budget option given the still problematic market and prices. It will handle games just fine at medium to high settings, but very high and ultra definitely seem to give it problems. Cooling is great. Even when its pushed to its max, the fans barely have to ramp up and are hardly audible and the temps stay well below 70c from every test I've run on it. This will be a great card for an average gamer, but is unlikely to satisfy more passionate gamers.
