Used by World Superbike, MotoGP and scores of other world class racers. 300V is completely POLAR in molecular structure, causing it to bond to metal and protect against metal-to-metal start-ups. Provides up to five times more film strength than petroleum motor oils. Motul 300V uses Double Ester Technology, and offers 0% shear loss. Double Ester Technology is superior to any previous forms of ester used in motor oils, and offers the most protection against friction inside of an engine. Motul 300v is designed for ultra high performance and racing use, but can be used in any high-reving, naturally aspirated or forced induction engine applications. Features and Benefits: In 1972 Motul was the first to use ester oils for Motorsports, transfering the technology from the aeronautic industry. In 2004, the double ester technology used in the 300V Motorsport range is breaking new grounds in automotive racing. Double Ester Technology's two types of esters provide excellent lubricity, better engine response and maximum engine RPM. High lubrication properties for anti wear protection above existing standards. Friction modifiers for maximum power output. 0% shear loss for stable oil pressure. Extremely high temperature resistance. For use in all high performance 4-stroke engines - road racing, motocross and bikes with or without a catalytic converter. Passes JASO T904 wet clutch compatibility test.

Although the MOTUL 7100 4T Ester Core is optimum oil for my Vulcan 900 LT and the MOTUL 300V Double Ester Core is primarily designed for the extra Ester Core protection for higher end race capable bikes and their extra heat and stresses, most of Canada in the summer is quite hot especially out on the highway and on extended rides. The price for a 4 Ltr jug of 300V is only about $25.00 more then the 7100 and there's nothing incompatible in its use with V-Twin bikes with larger displacements. I I put it in after my intial break-in period and it's performed very well.

As an automotive technician I have always trusted the quality of Motul products.I ride my Ninja very hard so naturally I wanted good oil. Many kms on this bike now. I did notice the clutch felt much better when I switched to this oil. I change it before it gets dirty however the color of it makes it very easy to tell when its time to change.

By all accounts good quality engine oil. Its what my owners manual recommends so its what I use. I know this is pricier than other oils out there, but being a mechanic forever I can tell you for certain all oils are NOT made the same and just like with everything you get what you pay for. I was worried about purchasing oils from an online retailer as I thought perhaps shipping would take longer but as always RM comes through with the super fast shipping. I live in California and if it ships from the Utah wear house its on my door step in two days. Cant complain about that. Keep up the great work! And also good oil.

I changed over my oil and I'm never going back. The gearbox shifts are very smooth. I almost had to relearn how to ride my bike when shifting. The temperature gauge even reads cooler when it's in the seventies outside. Also, who doesn't love neon green oil! Tiny little spice of life.
I was going to by the 7100 Syn but the difference in price was not exorbitant and despite everyone saying it was overkill to go to the 300V riding conditions in BC are so variable from sea to mountain especially with last year's 'heat dome' putting all bikes under heat conditions that were extraordinary. From flat to hills to mountain climbs from cool Fraser Valley nights to hot Okanagan days using the 10W-40 300V just gives you the protection that is worth the small price increase over the 7100.
I have used this on my 216 gsxr 600 for the past 3 oil changes, one thing I notice is that you must keep changing it if you want it to perform well. If used on street you must change it like 2k miles as this is for racing only on track I think it would be good to use probably 3 to 4 tack days. But if on street I have seen the oil level goes down real quick. But this is the best one I have tried, if you can afford it your bike will thank you
I bought this as it is the best oil on the market. But it is expensive though. When I bought my bike used, R1 2007 with only 10,000 miles, the seller put a very cheap oil in it and it lasted only 1,000 miles, after that it smelled like burned oil when I was starting up my bike and I didn't like that, so I bought this oil, so I will see if it last longer than 1,000 miles for the price, otherwise I will go with a slightly cheaper Motul oil like the Motul 7100 4T.Pros:Bright color to see through the small window.Smells kinda good, but not very flower-ish.I used the 15W50 which makes the shifting not mechanical and very smooth, I will try the 15w60 next time to see if it is even more smooth.Cons:Revzilla sells it at $85.52 but matched the Amazon price of $61.00. ... MoreI bought this as it is the best oil on the market. I changed over the oil in my 2019 Bonneville bobber yesterday and what a huge difference vs whatever the dealer put in my bike! Shifts are noticeably smoother is the major difference I felt right off the hop. This stuff is neon green too and smells like candy.... I had to double check the bottle to make sure it was in fact engine oil and not alien blood.... Sure its pricey but you spend all this money on a bike why sweat over 20-30 bucks extra for top tier oil? 5/5 will buy another jug for next years change!
"What oil should I buy?" You might be wondering to yourself as you look over everything from the bargain brand all the way to the premium liquid gold. You take obvious notice of the massive price differential , one costing more or less the same as three oil changes from the cheapo stuff.Colloquial wisdom tells us it's more important to change the stuff regularly than to use the brand name, but is it worth it to change regularly and use the good stuff? My money is on yes. Motul is one of the most highly regarded in this category, and I had heard its praises even before I began motorcycling when I drove a VW and I wanted something that even the Germans thought was best.Performance, miles per gallon, and engine life. These are three things enhanced by using premium oil, and probably one of my favorites is that if you need to extend the oil change interval by a bit, because life does get in the way sometimes, I'd rather have an oil I trust lubricating my precious engine than a cheapo brand. So you decide for yourself, but if you do want the best, Motul should be among the top names on your list.
This should be great oil. 100% synthetic, from a top name, and meets the specs. But, come on guys- ‘noticed the power increase’ 1% claimed. If you can tell that, you must have your Superman cape on Shifts like butter compared to last oil. We’re you using peanut butter before?I’m riding around the world on a F800GSA BMW. I always use a 100% synthetic of what ever major brand Ivan find where I’m at in the world? Yacco, Motul, Motorex, Castrol, Mobil 1, etc. I’ve used it. But only their 100% full synthetic, top oil.I have to admit fresh oil generally makes the clunky BMW gearbox feel ‘smoother ‘, but that impression is lost fairly quickly.I’m approaching 100,000 km, all overlanding miles, including up and down Africa.
